Fragmented Minds Expands with Chapter 02 on April 3

United States] – March 18, 2026 – Containment has failed, and the nightmare is only getting worse. HST Game Studios and indie.io are proud to announce that the second chapter of the immersive survival horror, SCP: Fragmented Minds, will arrive on Steam on April 3. Building on the success of the initial release, Chapter 02 pushes players deeper into the fractured facility, greatly expanding core systems and new SCP entities that test both nerve and survival instincts, while the twists and turns of the growing story further develop the iconic SCP universe.

The first chapter introduced players to the most secure facility in the SCP Foundation’s arsenal, Site-113. Located on Mars, it was supposed to usher in a new era of research and development in the safety of the Red Planet. In the end, this ambitious endeavor failed, and the horrors meant to be studied, examined, and harnessed escaped into the facility. Trapped between the harsh Martian conditions, the deteriorating facility, and reality-bending entities, Foundation staff was forced into a desperate fight for their survival, if not their very existence.

Players already experienced the first chapter of the storyline, waking up at Site-113 amid the carnage of malleable reality. They fought the escaped SCPs, cleverly utilizing the base’s environment and the available resources to their advantage, while dealing with the survivors, who have their own agendas and goals, even as the world around them unravels.

Chapter 02 pushes the narrative further, introducing new layers of complexity to the story with new audio logs and refined environmental storytelling, the highly anticipated SCP-049 quest arc, and a new guide character to help ease newcomers into the vast lore of the collaborative universe.

The expanded narrative is woven throughout fifteen new areas, most notably the facility’s North Wing, which dynamically changes in reaction to the players’ progress through the game and the decisions they make. The Forest, a developer favorite, is the other standout location, serving as the backdrop for a series of encounters with a highly requested SCP that is sure to challenge the players’ brains, together with a series of major gameplay additions.

The most important of these is the Wrist Device, which allows for rapid vertical movement and traversal, adding new ways to navigate through the crumbling Martian environments and deal with existing and new SCP threats. It is joined by Reality Anchors, which stabilize the fabric of existence and can rapidly alter gameplay and the players’ abilities for better and worse, and a reworked equipment and skill system allowing players to further customize their characters’ abilities through upgrades and crafting. Finally, the dynamic infection system adds additional tension and challenges players in new ways.

Are you ready to face the unspeakable, reality-warping horrors that the SCP Foundation failed to contain? Chapter 02 of SCP: Fragmented Minds will be available as a free update on April 3, 2026.  Chapter 01 is currently available on Steam and the indie.io store.

Chaotic City Builder Overthrown Launches into 1.0 on Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation

Play the full game now at discounted prices on all major platforms

Walnut Creek, CaliforniaMarch 18, 2026 | Maximum Entertainment today announced that Overthrown has officially launched into version 1.0. The game has now exited Early Access and fully released on PC via Steam and Xbox Series X, and launched for the first time on Xbox Series S and PlayStation 5. The 1.0 release debuts alongside the game’s most ambitious content drop yet: the Airship Update.

In Overthrown, players rule as a monarch wielding an ancient soul-stealing crown with powerful magical abilities. Set in a hostile wilderness, the game challenges players to build, defend, and expand a kingdom while fending off bandits, mutants, and increasingly complex threats, alone or with friends in up to six-player co-op.

The Airship Update dramatically expands Overthrown’s scope by taking the chaos to the skies. Players can construct and command their own airships, sending them to assault outlaw camps from above. However, airships come at a cost, requiring significant mana upkeep to operate, forcing players to balance power with sustainability. Outlaws are not defenseless either, fielding airships of their own and turning aerial dominance into a high-stakes strategic arms race.

To counter these airborne threats, the update introduces the Cannon Tower, a new defensive structure designed for direct fire against both airships and ground troops. Unlike existing indirect siege options, cannon towers provide precise, reactive defense and are available to both players and outlaws alike.

Outlaw activity escalates significantly in the Airship Update. Camps grow larger and more complex, featuring new structures and three dangerous new enemy types:

  • Scrappers, support units that stay behind the front lines to repair and rebuild damaged defenses
  • Ringleaders, heavily armored elite enemies limited to one per camp
  • Firestarters, stealthy saboteurs that infiltrate settlements at night to ignite fires before disappearing

The update also introduces a terrifying new creature: the Devourer. If left unchecked, Snappers can evolve over time into these massive beasts, capable of consuming entire buildings and even ships.

Rounding out the update are three new levels, each focused on distinct ecosystems, including the high-elevation Highland Plateau, designed to highlight verticality, aerial combat, and environmental strategy.

Overthrown is available now on Xbox Game Pass, at 40% off on PC via Steam and Xbox Series X|S, and 25% off on PlayStation 5.

Diablo Devs Kickstarter For New ARPG, Darkhaven, Ends In 60 Hours

The Kickstarter for Darkhaven, a new ARPG from Diablo veterans Philip Shenk, Peter Hu, and Erich Schaefer is entering the final stretch, with 60-hours left for ARPG fans to help the game hit its $500k funding target. Darkhaven has showcased the potential in its fully dynamic world where everything is deformable and buildable with an unfiltered demo that ended the recent Steam Next Fest as one of the top 20 most-played demos.

Moon Beast Productions have added new rewards to the Kickstarter since its launch, including the new “design your own legendary item” reward – fans can check out Peter and Erich diving into that, among other things, in this recent conversation.

Darkhaven is a dark fantasy isometric ARPG set in the aftermath of a great and final collapse of civilization. Ancient empires have fallen, their ruins reclaimed by wilderness, monsters, and predatory supernatural forces. Players are heirs to a legacy of power that is the last hope for this dying world. As eldritch evil worms its way into the world to feed on its remains, it falls to these few to bring the land back from the brink of death.

Designed for solo play, cooperative adventures, and high-stakes PvP-enabled realms, Darkhaven is set in a procedurally generated, fully dynamic, and persistent world. Terrain and structures are deformable and buildable, allowing players to dig through earth, tunnel through dungeon walls, drain lakes to uncover buried ruins, redirect lava flows to reshape battlefields, or rebuild shattered fortresses. Seasons change, weather alters combat and traversal, and world-altering events leave permanent scars. Every action contributes to a shared, evolving history.

The demo available now on Steam offers several hours of open-ended ARPG gameplay inside a persistent sandbox world. Players can progress the Witch class to level 8, experimenting across three skill trees focused on mobility, positioning, and resource management. Closer to a pre-alpha than a highly polished, bite-sized teaser, Moon Beast have decided not to water down their ambition with a narrow vertical slice, instead allowing players to experience the full, unfiltered version of what they are building as they seek players’ support to realise their vision on Kickstarter.

Moon Beast Productions is an independent games developer founded by industry veterans Philip Shenk, Peter Hu, and Erich Schaefer. They have offices in San Francisco, CA, and Austin, TX. Founded in 2021, Moon Beast Productions focuses on innovation in ARPG games.
