Ransack and Demolish Interstellar Ships in VR Shooter “Space Shells” Today

Ransack and Demolish Interstellar Ships in VR Shooter “Space Shells” Today

THE GREAT BEYOND – 7 Dec. 2022 – Space Shells, the rogue-lite VR shooter from developer Mobirate, breaks and enters into corporation-controlled space fleets on Oculus Rift, Valve Index, HTC Vive, and Windows Mixed Reality via Steam Early Access today.

Trespass into the hulls of massive intergalactic spaceships, under the keen radars of hostile droids. Suit up in a variety of shells, state-of-the-art mechanical bodies created with cutting-edge technology, to eliminate the robotic threats and strike a financial blow to the greedy businesses controlling them. Prepare to dent some framework and amass an impressive android body count, going barrel-to-motherboard with enemy bots, drones, and turrets.

Work efficiently by landing precise headshots or slaughter in style with a barrage of expertly aimed grenades, quickly timed dodges, and devastating blows. Unlock advanced weapons and shells with each fallen ship, clearing cabins with caution as each vessel smuggles highly combustible materials.

“Ready your VR headsets to complete dangerous missions amongst the stars and earn a name that strikes fear in the hearts of your enemy in the early access edition of Space Shells” said Anton Belov, Cofounder, Mobirate. “The 1.0 version will expand the game with a complex, futuristic story following the demolition of this evil, capitalistically-fueled organization.”

Space Shells is available now on Oculus Rift, Valve Index, HTC Vive, and Windows Mixed Reality via Steam Early Access for $19.99 with English language support.

GHOSTBUSTERS: SPIRITS UNLEASHED WILL SEE ADDITIONAL MAPS, GHOSTS, & MORE!

Gamers Can Expect Free DLC Each Quarter of 2023

Lakewood, Colorado — December 6, 2022 — Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed, is a 4v1 action-packed video game that launched on Tuesday, October 18, from the asymmetrical multiplayer experts at IllFonic. Today the developer and self-publisher shares some information on its support plan for the title in 2023.

At launch gamers were able to hunt or haunt through five unique maps in Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed. Early in quarter one of 2023, IllFonic will be adding a new map to the mix, The Facility. The Facility closed for good in the late 1980s and has been recently purchased by a private investor group, who have plans to renovate and reopen the facility. Unfortunately for them, it’s being plagued by ghostly activity, and construction crews refuse to enter this haunted health center. Design Director, Jordan Mathewson shares what makes playing this map unique, “The look that this play space is worn by time gives the players a unique feeling compared to our current job locations [maps]. Construction workers are civilians and have begun a restoration of this facility that has uncovered why it was abandoned in the first place. Varied corridors combined with medium-sized rooms are built stacked up to provide a unique, more intimate gameplay experience with a creepier aesthetic. There will be some interesting ways to utilize these new areas in this map to each player’s, Ghostbuster or Ghost, advantage. We will share more soon!”

Beyond the map, the community will be able to play as a new Ghost type – Muncher. Immediately recognizable, this fan-favorite is the most requested Ghost IllFonic has received to date. If you are a haunting enthusiast, then you will not be disappointed to get your hands on this mischievous spirit in game. Not to fear all those who heard the call of the firehouse, you will be getting some new character customization options in DLC #1 too! Players can expect more images and details as we get closer to the date for the first drop in the new year. And remember, IllFonic plans to release similar DLC Drops each quarter of 2023 for free, in addition to the continued Quality of Life patches they are currently supporting Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed with.

In addition to his background working with independent developers around the globe, he brings a decade’s worth of communication, marketing, and PR experience from roles in gaming and ecommerce industries.

“I’ve been a fan of EVERSPACE for quite some time now and have admired the team’s transparency and commitment to working with the community during development. In working with the team at ROCKFISH, I saw an incredible commitment to creating polished, exciting adventures that combine three of my favourite things: spacefaring action, deep RPG mechanics, and lore-filled science fiction stories,” said Lee Guille ROCKFISH Games Communication & PR Director. “I can’t wait to help take this incredible franchise into the future!”

In addition to the expanded Marketing department, the ROCKFISH Games team is continuing to expand. Opportunities in Programming and Art roles are currently open to increase momentum on EVERSPACE 2 and aid in developing future projects.

With this latest update to God of War Ragnarök, PlayStation is pleased to finally be able to give players access to Photo Mode in this game as well!

    • Hide main or side characters in a scene
    • Adjust camera controls with:
      • Field of View
      • Focal Length

      • Filter Intensity, with finer controls for Vibrance and Saturation
    • Apply vignettes, borders, and logos

To get players started, Santa Monica Studio Photo Mode aficionado and QA Lead Tim Ward has shared some tips (and amazing photos)!

Photo Mode Tips

  • Adjust the Filter Intensity, Vibrance, and Saturation on your desired filter for a wider range of colours.
  • Be sure to add a vignette when appropriate to give your shot more depth.
  • Don’t be afraid to roll the camera a little bit, especially when shooting combat. It can make your screenshots feel more dynamic and less like the camera is always shooting from a fixed horizontal position.
  • If you like to take vertical shots, you can roll the camera 90 degrees to give yourself the much-needed headroom.
  • Remember, lighting is everything! Your screenshots will really pop if the subject of your shot is properly lit. Know where your light source is when entering Photo Mode to give your subject proper visibility.
  • Take your time looking for a shot you’re happy with. A lot of times, you can enter photo mode thinking of taking a specific shot only to find something else better during that moment. Explore with the camera and move about the scene and see what jumps out at you.

Players be sure to tag @SonySantaMonica or use the hashtag #GodofWarRagnarök to share.
