ROAR-Some New Racer, Gigantosaurus: Dino Kart, launches today

Players of all ages can race as fan favourite characters from the number 1 preschool Dinosaur TV series, Gigantosaurus, with four person multiplayer.

Friday, February 17th, 2023: Outright Games, the leading publisher of family-friendly interactive entertainment, in partnership with Cyber Group Studios, a leading producer and distributor of animated series for children and families worldwide, are pleased to announce the release of Gigantosaurus: Dino Karttoday. The first ever kart racing game in the Gigantosaurus franchise, is now available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC.

This brand new Gigantosaurus experience offers hours of story content and allows players to compete as eight different playable characters from the hit TV series including fan favourites, Bill, Mazu, Rocky and Tiny. Play solo or against family and friends with up to four person split-screen multiplayer across fifteen tracks through the land of Cretacia.

Gigantosaurus: Dino Kart puts players in the driver seat as they traversethrough three different environments in the Savannah, Jungle, and Mount Oblivion Cups, picking up special skills to help you win the race, including “Giganto’s Roar” – a sound that will slow down all opponents within a certain range.  Players who dino-soar through the finish lines can take on “Jetpack” tracks that allow for unique and fun layouts to test their abilities.

Taking inspiration from the well-received racing segments of the previous game Gigantosaurus: The Game and the season 1, episode 14 “Racing Giganto” of the Gigantosaurus series, developer 3DClouds expanded the concept into a game format, with playable characters, skills and natural obstacles to provide an element of unpredictability within the tracks. Designed with the whole family in mind, the game features 3 levels of difficulty for different age ranges and three playable modes, including “play with friends” which features up to 4 players couch co-op, guaranteeing fun for the whole family. Even the littlest players are accounted for with instant race mode which randomly selects a character and track, auto-steering and auto accelerating karts and on-screen text tips read aloud by Mazu the brainy Ankylosaurus, making it perfect for the whole family to enjoy. Each character additionally has its own unique vehicle skins, allowing you to pick your favourites before you race.

Gigantosaurus: Dino Kart is based on the successful animated TV series Gigantosaurus, currently streaming worldwide on Disney+ and Netflix and airing internationally on major channels such as Disney Junior (worldwide), France Télévisions, POP (UK), Super RTL (Germany), RAI yoyo (Italy), RTVE – Clan (Spain), CCTV (China), TV Azteca (Mexico) and NHK (Japan). Sydney, Australia – February 17th, 2023 — The Settlers®: New Allies, the newest installment of the legendary build-up real-time strategy game series, will launch on Windows PC today, February 17th, 2023*. The game will be available through the Epic Games Store and the Ubisoft Store. Players will also be able to access the game through a Ubisoft+ subscription at launch.

Developed by Ubisoft Düsseldorf, The Settlers®: New Allies is a modern take on the long-established The Settlers’ franchise, combining elaborate infrastructure and economic gameplay with tactical real-time battles. Starting with a small group of Settlers, players must explore their surroundings, build up their settlements and optimize resource production to recruit new settlers and an army able to protect their land. Researching economic and military upgrades is critical to create a strong army and overcome rivals.

The game features three main game modes:

  • A story-driven campaign will immerse the players in the world of The Settlers® as the Elari, a people forced to flee their homeland, are looking for a new home. Ramses (Egypt)

After assuming the throne in his mid 20s, Ramses went on to become one of the greatest and most powerful pharaohs of the Egyptian Empire. He’s remembered not only for his military campaigns, but also for ambitious building projects like the temples at Abu Simbel and Ramsseum. In-game, this translates to a desire to improve as many tiles as possible, as well as a dislike of Civilizations that fail to improve their tiles or that found National Parks.

New Ability: Abu Simbel

  • Gain Culture equal to 15% of the construction cost when finishing Buildings and 30% when completing Wonders.

Ptolemaic Cleopatra (Egypt)

In the early days of Cleopatra’s reign, even before the conflict with her brother Ptolemy XIII, she had to deal with a number of pressing issues including debts to the Roman Republic and a drought-induced famine. Concerned that her subjects in Alexandria wouldn’t have enough to eat and that this could lead to unrest, Cleopatra opened granaries to the public and decreed that crops could no longer be traded away from the capital. Since Egypt was a significant source of food for Rome even during these challenging times, Cleopatra likes Civilizations with high food output and dislikes those with low food output. 

New Ability: Arrival of Hapi

  • Resources along floodplains receive +1 food and +1 culture.
  • +1 appeal on floodplains instead of standard -1.

King Sundiata Keita (Mali)**

Known as the Lion of Mali, Sundiata Keita grew up being unable to walk; when his father died, he and his mother were exiled to the kingdom of Mema. After proving himself able to hunt and fight there, he returned home to Mali to defeat the sorcerer-king Soumaoro Kante, inspiring generations of poets to tell his story in the historical epic Sunjata. Sundiata’s Lion of Mali agenda causes him to dislike Civilizations who compete for Tourism.

Today, 2K and Marvel Entertainment debuted a new trailer for Marvel’s Midnight Suns’ second post-launch DLC – Redemption* – featuring the monstrous Venom! Available for either standalone purchase or as part of Marvel’s Midnight Suns Season Pass (included in the Legendary Edition), each DLC brings a new recruitable hero and adds three new story missions, a new upgrade for the Abbey, and a selection of new skins and outfits for the hero. Once you recruit a hero, they’ll be added as permanent members to your roster and you can take them on missions, customize their abilities and build Friendships outside of battle throughout the game.

In Redemption, Venom – the deadly amalgam of Eddie Brock and an alien symbiote – joins the Midnight Suns on February 23 as a recruitable hero** to right the wrongs he committed under Lilith’s demonic influence, bringing new abilities and an insatiable appetite to chew through evildoers. Redemption includes three new story missions that continue off of the first DLC, which introduced the threat of vampyres on New York City. As the Fooliganz’ potent psychedelics worm their way further into the city’s nervous system, lawbreakers grow bolder and more brash than ever. Street Dealers are desperate for new hookups, while lowly criminals are busy sticking up storefronts around the city and rival gangs are setting up Stash Houses that are ripe to get ripped off. And dead drops in the form of G’s Caches are being left in public areas. Capitalize on these new developments to turn them into money-making opportunities.

Rob New Daily Stash Houses

Be on the lookout for the new Daily Stash House popping up on your map — these safehouses contain hoarded GTA$ or product, but they’re also packed with enemies. A successful invasion requires you to kick down the door, clear out your foes, locate the combination for the safe, and crack it to walk away with someone else’s drugs or money.

New Dead Drops: Retrieve G’s Cache

The dead drop is a classic drug-dealing maneuver. In theory, a suspicious package left out in the open will attract less attention than peddlers meeting up to exchange illegal contraband.

G’s Cache is a new daily dead drop that will pop up on the map. Once close by, look for a red flashing light and the sound of beeping. Fight off any competition, and a lump sum of GTA$, ammunition, and snacks is yours for the taking.

Supply New Street Dealers

Street Dealers are the lifeblood of the drug trade — hanging out on seedy corners, making hand-to-hand exchanges, changing locations daily, and paying premiums according to market supply. Q3 Game Highlights

In a very competitive backdrop, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege posted a very strong performance in December and January, following the release of Operation Solar Raid, the last season of Year 7. It resonated very well with the community, reflecting the excellent work from our teams at Ubisoft Montreal and at the associate studios, building on the game’s positive momentum since Q1 2022-23 which has led the games’ PRI to grow double-digit on a 9-month basis. As a result, December posted another record month for DARPU, which grew more than 30% year-on-year during the quarter, and engagement is back to double-digit year-on-year growth since the beginning of calendar year 2023. At the end of the ongoing esports Six Invitational event, the team will unveil the new season of Rainbow Six Siege as well as an amazing year of content. Leveraging this current success and strong engagement, we will release Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Mobile next fiscal year as we look to bring the brand to a significantly wider audience.

Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, led by Ubisoft Paris and Ubisoft Milan, was awarded the best Simulation/Strategy game at the Game Awards 2022. Thanks to positive player reception, upcoming high-quality post-launch content and word of mouth, we expect the game to be a long-term seller.

Game Pipeline Highlights

The reveal of The Crew Motorfest, developed by the seasoned car racing and Live Services team at Ubisoft Ivory Tower, was very well received by players and critics alike. Subsequently, the registrations to the Insider Program, that enables players to test the game and submit feedback, generated very strong demand. To date, feedback has been very positive on the gameplay and the core experience. As players race through the island of O’ahu, The Crew Motorfest will leverage the franchise strong and profitable success with a community of more than 40 million unique players as well as ongoing solid player engagement in The Crew® 2, more than four years after its release.

The Tom Clancy’s The Division franchise is getting ready for a big year. With its 4th anniversary on the horizon, Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 will keep improving the player experience and receive new updates, including a full year of fresh new seasonal content to keep new and veteran players engaged. Next fiscal year we will also be launching Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence, the first high-end AAA mobile looter shooter experience for Android and iOS devices. As we look to bring The Division to a larger, global audience, we are also working on Tom Clancy’s The Division Heartland, a PvEvP-focused Free-to-Play action survival shooter for console and PC.

XDefiant, from our Ubisoft San-Francisco studio, is Ubisoft’s upcoming Free-to-Play fast paced arena shooter for consoles and PC. In October 2022 we concluded our weekly test sessions with players and received positive feedback thus far. Starting today, through Sunday, we are conducting our first cross platform technical test with tens of thousands of players.

IFRS 15 sales for the third quarter of 2022-23 came to €772.5 million, up 16.0% (12.8% at constant exchange rates[1]).

For the first nine months of 2022-23, IFRS 15 sales amounted to €1,503.7 million, up 6.1% (2.3% at constant exchange rates).

Net bookings for third-quarter 2022-23 totaled €726.9 million, in line with the Group’s revised target of around 725.0 million and representing a decrease of 2.6% (-5.4% at constant exchange rates).

For the first nine months of 2022-23, net bookings stood at €1,426.3 million, down 2.6%
(-6.2% at constant exchange rates).

Outlook

Full-year 2022-23

The company confirms its financial targets of full year net bookings down more than 10% year-on-year and full year non-IFRS operating income of approximately -€500m.

Full-year 2023-24

The Company confirms it expects a strong topline growth and a non-IFRS operating income target of approximately €400 million.
