LOS ANGELES – August 3, 2023 – Leading mobile game developer and publisher Netmarble is excited to announce it has launched the first game update for its recently released collectible RPG, Tower of God: New World.  Starting today, players can experience a variety of newly added content, including SSR character Hwaryun, Story Act 5 ‘Evankhell’s Deep-Sea Fish,’ and several limited-time events.

Hwaryun jumps towards the Weakpoint enemy to deal her ATK, or she can swing her staff to deal ATK to other enemies, knocking them back from the fight. Additionally, Hwaryun can increase nearby allies’ Swiftness and their ATK, while creating a barrier equal to ATK.

The new main Story Act 5, ‘Evankhell’s Deep-Sea Fish,’ is now available uncovering new stories surrounding Evankhell: Clues from the Past, Administrator’s Test, and Royal Enforcement Division.

Since its Early Access release on Meta Quest and Steam in late May, ‘X8’ has been generating significant buzz in the gaming community – over 70,000 players have already installed the game to play 250,000 matches and 2 million rounds of intense 5v5 gameplay to date. X8 is a VR multiplayer hero shooter game that offers gamers customizable loadouts of weapons, armor, items, and abilities, allowing players to equip their heroes before the battle begins. Additionally, each hero holds three special abilities and their hero-specific items offer situational advantages. Teams use an array of strategies to penetrate enemy defenses to deploy ‘The Syphon’ at specific sites on the map during an attack or deactivate it within 30 seconds using ‘The Defuser’ during defense. The team that eliminates all attackers or disrupts the deployment process to score the most points over the course of the 14-round game is declared the winner.
