Sonic Superstars LEGO brick model to be unveiled at PAX AUS on Oct 6

To commemorate Sonic’s appearance as a LEGO® minifigure in the upcoming Sonic Superstars, SEGA has partnered with one of the world’s leading LEGO brick artists and only LEGO Certified Professional (LCP) in the southern hemisphere, Ryan McNaught, aka Brickman, to create a life-size LEGO brick model.

Ryan and The Brickman team took 103 hours to create the model and used 25,807 LEGO bricks to bring Sonic to life. The LEGO brick model will be on show for the public at PAX AUS which opens on Oct 6 at the Melbourne Convention Centre. Sonic Superstars will also be available to play at the show where visitors will get to experience Sonic’s latest adventure and see the inspiration for Brickman’s LEGO creation.

Even Further Expanded Free Trial Adds Stormblood Expansion

4th October, 2023 – SQUARE ENIX® today introduced new content to the critically acclaimed MMORPG FINAL FANTASY™ XIV Online with the arrival of Patch 6.5: “Growing Light.”

The Warrior of Light’s journey continues with new main scenario quests in the first of a two-part conclusion to the story told throughout the Endwalker™ patch series. Exciting new challenges also await, such as the third instalment of the Myths of the Realm alliance raid series: Thaleia, the Lunar Subterrane dungeon, the Abyssal Fracture trial, and the Singularity Reactor (Unreal) trial. 

Additionally, Patch 6.5 further expands the Duty Support system making it now possible to play all main scenario dungeons in A Realm Reborn™ through Endwalker solo alongside NPCs. Numerous other additions include updates to Island Sanctuary, new custom deliveries, and much more. DALLAS — 3 Oct 2023 — Below the Stone, a dwarf-themed extraction roguelike by developer Strollart and publisher Apogee Entertainment, digs up an Early Access release on Wednesday 17 November for Steam for PC and GOG ahead of its arrival on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S in 2024. Aspiring excavators can check out a new demo today.

Leave no stone unturned in this rocky roguelike where mining dwarves explore the Kingdom of Draggas. A top-three “favorite indie” at OTK Games Expo 2022, and voted top-two favorite indie games at TooManyGames of 2022 and 2023, Below the Stone invites explorers to dive into procedurally generated caves where unknown risks and rewards lie in wait. 

Grab a hardhat, a pickaxe, and answer the Earthmother’s call while clearing pathways through the Kingdom’s increasingly-perilous layers filled with dozens of biomes. Hunt for treasure across stony hollows, magma-spouting volcanic depths and crystal-filled caverns, each with its own characters, local flora and area-specific enemies that call for different equipment and playstyles.

Each expedition requires careful calculation. Venture through naturally occurring pathways to complete mission objectives, or carve through fully destructible rock walls hiding secret dungeons and shortcuts. Be careful not to go too deep, as gear is forever lost in failed runs. Return in one piece by balancing progression, resource management and greed during every odyssey into the unknown, and deposit valuable loot and gear in above-ground banks for future cave dives.

Visit the bar to interact with a peculiar cast of fellow bearded brethren, off-duty dragon slayers and necromancers. Converse over a pint to unlock loot-bearing side quests. Stop by the alchemist to brew healing potions, and be careful not to overpay at the item shop! Excavate to underground tunes with more than an hour of original tracks, coming soon to Apogee Music.
