Publisher to showcase six exciting titles, including three brand new announcements
Barcelona, Spain – 29th August 2023. Publisher SelectaPlay has confirmed they will be exhibiting at Indie Dev Day, showcasing no less than six new titles from their upcoming portfolio of games. Running from 8th – 10th September in Barcelona, Spain, SelectaPlay will have the first playable demos for fans to get some hands-on time with, three of which are to be announced soon.
Three of the playable titles are the recently announced first-person psychological horror narrative experience Luto, the addictive puzzle game Bubble Ghost Remake and Inner Ashes, the first-person narrative adventure game. SelectaPlay will announce three exciting new titles, also playable on their booth at Indie Dev Day, in the lead-up to the event, so stay tuned for more information.

Throughout the Fate franchise, pairs of Masters and heroic spirits – also known as Servants – have been fighting across history in a series of Holy Grail Wars, with the winning duo receiving an ancient artifact that grants wishes. Fate/Samurai Remnant continues the series’ epic Holy Grail War in Edo Period Japan as players control young samurai Miyamoto Iori alongside his Servant Saber. Here, a battle between seven pairs of Masters and Servants is about to begin as the “Waxing Moon Ritual” unfolds in the shadows.
Playing as Iori, players will explore the town of Edo and experience a variety of activities, such as wandering the streets in the company of various Servants, shopping at the mysterious store “Babyloni-ya”, or visiting famous places scattered throughout Edo. Accompanied by Saber, who is particularly keen to discover life in Edo, Iori will be able to complete a variety of side quests to earn money and much-needed materials. He will also be called upon to arbitrate fights.
As Edo is divided into several districts, players can move from one to another using the world map, which will show them where to go to progress through the story of the Waxing Moon Ritual. Saber will also mark places of interest on the map. Some Rogue Servants may suggest sub-quests called “Digressions”. As they progress through the different Digressions, players will bond with Rogue Servants who will accompany Iori.
By taking part in the Ritual, Iori will have to prepare himself to face powerful opponents in fearsome battles with the help of Saber and other Rogue Servants. To maximize their chances, players can upgrade not only Iori’s skill tree, but also those of Saber and other Rogue Servants, unlocking various skills and abilities that they can equip. In addition to his skill tree, Iori can use materials with his sword mountings to strengthen its abilities and replace the skills attached to it. Players will also be able to fill in Saber’s “Memento Ring” as they strengthen the bond between Servant and Master by exploring the town of Edo and progressing through the story. Once they reach a certain level on the “Memento Ring”, players can increase their chances of using Link Strikes in battle or unlock new skills in Saber’s tree.
In Fate/Samurai Remnant combat, players have three different gauges to watch out for if they want to triumph over even the most formidable opponents: the “Affinity Gauge”, the “Substitution Gauge”, and the “Hidden Sword Gauge”. The first gauge is required to use the powerful “Affinity Technique” action and order their Servant to perform a specific attack. This gauge fills up during combat in response to Iori’s attacks, but can also fill up during exploration when players carry out various activities such as interacting with Saber’s points of interest. By consuming the second gauge, the “Substitution Gauge”, players can temporarily and directly control the Servant accompanying Iori. Finally, the last gauge tells players when they can unleash Iori’s special technique, which changes according to the number of swords used in combat.
During Tokyo Game Show 2023, a special livestream* will be held on 21st September 2023 from 14:00 BST (22:00 JST). Broadcast on KOEI TECMO Japan’s official YouTube channel, this special livestream will not only provide more information about the game, but will also showcase gameplay using characters that have never been played before. Special guests include Kengo Kawanishi (Iori Miyamoto), Hibiku Yamamura (Saber), and Tomoaki Maeno (Zheng Chenggong).
Fate/Samurai Remnant is now available for pre-order in both Standard and Digital Deluxe editions. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the base game, a digital artbook and soundtrack, the Fate/Samurai Remnant Season Pass that includes three DLC sets**, and the Season Pass Bonus item “Hallowed Relic Sword Mountings”.

29 August – Wargaming, the developer and publisher of the naval franchise World of Warships, today announced its latest August update to World of Warships: Legends. Jam-packed with plenty of Legendary and Premium ships to unlock, this update introduces new free Bureau projects to the game with three Legendary Tier ships waiting to be researched, and a free collaboration themed around American metal band Megadeth. On top of this, August introduces another classic Legends style campaign that spans five weeks and 100 milestones with Premium German Tier VIII destroyer Z-44 waiting at the end, and three new seasons of Arena Battles to dive into.

Included in this lineup is French heavy cruiser Henri IV, gifted with speed and punchy high-calibre guns, and the most well-armed ship with 16 15-inch guns, Italian battleship Cristoforo Colombo. Plus, Pan-European destroyer Halland makes an appearance, doing significant damage across the sea and sky with rapid-reloading torpedoes and guns. This dynamic trio of Legendary European vessels await players as the final project prizes to unlock and add to their Armada.
Welcoming the “Wagen un Winnen” Campaign
This August update also welcomes another new campaign to Legends’ waters. Waiting at the end of 100 milestones across five weeks, players who acquired Admiralty Backing and completed the “Wagen un Winnen” campaign can secure Tier VIII German Z-44 Premium destroyer. This special ship is equipped with a healthy armament of rapid-reloading long-range torpedoes, and great concealment to wreak havoc with stealth, especially when used alongside the “Smoke Generator” consumable. For players caught up in the action, this campaign has the catch-up mechanic enabled.
Megadeth Collab
This collaboration brings – absolutely for free – Tier IV American Premium cruiser Rattlehead, 2 Commander guises, depicting Dave Mustaine himself and band mascot Vic Rattlehead, and also special flag, base, and patch. This metal content is available until October 2 through platform or in-game Store (if you’re on mobile), missions, and Legends’ socials.
Alongside the three new Bureau projects, three seasons of Arena Battles kick off from September 7. This cooperative battle mode brings together four teams of three to fight for naval dominance, as players select from seasonally eligible Tier IV-VI ships. Without carriers and with a special Arms Race mechanic implemented, allowing permanent upgradable bonuses to be used, there’s plenty of action to unfold!

Step into the tiny boots of Flynn, an adorable donkey searching for their missing father, last seen on the gorgeous Figori island. Long before disappearing, Flynn’s father gifted them a curious sticker album. Upon finding a letter advising they travel to Figori island with album in hand, Flynn arrives and discovers another letter explaining the true power of the stickers: when used properly, they can shift reality itself!
Wield the magical album to convert Flynn’s surroundings into stickers, then place them around the world to solve inventive puzzles with multiple solutions, help new friends, and even decorate Figori island. Need to cross over a river? Grab a bridge from elsewhere, place it in the sicker album, and drop it where needed. Too dark to see? Borrow the sun and brighten up the area! Experiment by placing stickers wherever possible, including moving other characters around the island to see how they react.
Yet Flynn seems to have a rival of sorts. Rocky, a mischievous Raccoon, has a magical sticker book of his own. Whether he realizes it or not, his actions create obstacles slowing down Flynn’s quest. Pursue Rocky and search for Flynn’s father, all while filling up the sticker book with cherished memories.
