Inspired by Mesopotamian legend, Gilgamesh is loyal and assertive and strikes with brute force. Driven by a devotion to his fellow champions and his reverence for battle, Gilgamesh welcomes the Dominion’s challenging hordes and seeks glory in their demise. Despite his healthy ego and arrogance, however, he recognizes the ever-present threat of the Dominion over his friends’ lives and will stop at nothing to protect them.
Accentuating his raw power, Gilgamesh wears a set of golden gauntlets to amplify his physical strength. His attacks unleash bursts of solar energy that increase through character-specific boons. Aspects of his kit, including his Solar Burst and Ray of Sunshine, debuff enemies’ defenses and increase skill cooldown, handing GIlgmesh an easy advantage on the battlefield. Accompanying Gilgamesh is the spirit of Enkidu–a comrade to the King of Uruk–who comes to the champion’s aid as he is wounded, inflicting enemies with Bleed. In flashy fashion, Gilgamesh swaps in and out of a vehicle form and infuses his transformations with damaging attacks.
Gilgamesh joins Sun Wukong and Athena in Champion Shift’s roster of future playable characters. In anticipation of the title’s further announcements, an updated multiplayer demo has launched on Steam and is available now.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on December 7. A new trailer for the game reveals further story details about the hero’s journey and the clans they will meet as they explore the Western Frontier of Pandora to reconnect with their lost heritage.
In Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, you will play as a Na’vi who was abducted as an infant by the RDA and trained in The Ambassador Program (TAP) to serve human interests on Pandora. When the RDA evacuated Pandora during the Battle of the Hallelujah Mountains (as seen in the first Avatar movie), you were put into emergency cryosleep. You wake up 15 years later, finally free from the RDA, but lost and unfamiliar with your home world.
You set out on a journey to discover the world that was kept from you, meeting other Na’vi clans and learning about Na’vi culture. You discover that you are a member of the respected Sarentu clan, believed to have disappeared years before. As you journey across the Western Frontier, you will meet the Aranahe, a clan of artisans known for their weaving skills; the Zeswa, a proud nomadic clan that lives in symbiosis with gigantic beasts called Zakru; and the Kame’tire, a reclusive, enigmatic clan skilled in healing and potion-making.
As a rite of passage, you will bond with your own banshee, or ikran (as the Na’vi say). Together, you will be able to explore Pandora from a new perspective: that of the skies. You can also fish with them, perform acrobatics above the clouds, and fight against the RDA together. You can also expand your exploration possibilities on the ground by learning to ride a direhorse.
Once again, the RDA poses a threat to Pandora’s flourishing ecosystems. With your knowledge of human technology and weapons as well as your Na’vi background and skills, you are uniquely equipped to push back against the RDA. It is up to you to gain the trust of other Na’vi clans to rally them to protect Pandora because working together, the Na’vi are stronger.

The new trailer showcases SaGa Emerald Beyond’s eclectic cast of heroes from vastly different worlds, with five distinct and dramatic stories to experience. Players will select any of the six protagonists to begin their story with, and guided by mysterious emerald waves, will explore 17 strikingly beautiful worlds where you can meet a diverse cast of races, including monsters, mechs, and vampires, forging their own story. SaGa Emerald Beyond expands on the free-form scenario system the SaGa franchise is renowned for, offering the player the greatest amount of freedom to shape their own story to date, with each tale branching outwards based on their choices and actions. The trailer also showcases the game’s strategic turn-based combat system in motion, offering the best iteration of the SaGa franchise’s combat.
Alongside the trailer, SQUARE ENIX also unveiled a debut key art featuring all six protagonists.
Players can choose to begin their story as one of the following protagonists. Each possesses the rare ability to see emerald waves that present choices of their destinies:
Tsunanori Mido – A man who can manipulate kugutsu, or animated puppets, which protect the barrier around his home, Miyako City. When the city is plagued by all kinds of supernatural phenomena, Tsunanori embarks on a journey to other worlds to find four elemental spirits in order to restore order to the spiritual realm.
Ameya – A witch-in-training who visits Miyako City and lives in secret as a schoolgirl as a part of her graduation exam. After Ameya is attacked by an unknown man, she loses practically all of her magical power and must find a way to regain what was lost and pass her final exam.
Siugnas – An immortal vampire who rules over Yomi, a world shrouded in darkness, as the Dismal King. However, after being betrayed and driven from his throne, Siugnas finds himself in Brighthome—the gathering place of dead warriors—and must set out on a journey to recover his powers alongside the other warriors in his squadron.
Diva No.5 – A songstress mech designed to sing and dance from the world of Avalon. After singing a forbidden song, however, Diva’s memory and singing functionality are sealed away, causing her to lose her livelihood and music itself. In her despair, Diva discards her “human” body and, going with the flow, accepts an invitation from a secret society, leaving Avalon behind.
Bonnie and Formina – Two new recruits and partners on the Capitol City police force who are investigating an assassination attempt on the President. With a key person of interest’s claim that the president is a traitor and a mysterious triangle piece as their only clues, they set off on a journey through other worlds to uncover the hidden truth behind the incident.

SYDNEY (Sept. 15, 2023) – Today, during the PlayStation’s State of Play broadcast, SQUARE ENIX® debuted a brand-new trailer for its upcoming action-RPG, FINAL FANTASY™ VII REBIRTH, and revealed thatthe highly anticipated new story in the critically acclaimed FINAL FANTASY VII remake project will debut on February 29th, 2024 for the PlayStation®5 (PS5™) console. The company also announced that the first entry in the FINAL FANTASY VII remake project, FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE, has surpassed 7 million shipments and digital sales worldwide.
The action-packed trailer features iconic characters Cloud, Aerith, Barret and Tifa in a sci-fi and fantasy-inspired world teeming with danger at every turn. The unlikely heroes join forces with new playable companions, including Yuffie, a member of Wutai’s elite corps of ninja operatives, Red XIII, a beast with a flaming tail who offers words of wisdom to Cloud’s party from time to time, and Cait Sith, a wisecracking, feline-shaped robot often seen poised atop his big moogle pal, to hunt down Sephiroth, the one-winged angel bent on ruling the planet.

Alongside the release date, SQUARE ENIX unveiled the key art for the game. Created by Creative Director, Tetsuya Nomura, the new artwork represents the three worlds that form the axis of the story in FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH. Sephiroth is in the center, as he represents the instigator of the events of the past. Cloud and Zack are on the side as they represent their destinies being torn apart by Sephiroth. The image of blood, fire, and red that evokes Sephiroth, stains the sky and spreads over the world. The subtle red shade in the logo of this work is also inspired by the same imagery.

Today’s State of Play included a brand-new look at Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (FFVII). The trailer surely will delight both long-term FFVII fans as well as players eager to know what happens after the conclusion of Final Fantasy VII Remake, as Cloud and company embark on a journey that takes them to the world outside Midgar. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is coming to PlayStation 5 on December 7 2023, offering fans the chance to play as a Na’vi and fight against the Resources Development Administration (RDA) to protect the beautiful moon of Pandora – see the full trailer below:
PlayStation players will receive the Aranahe Warrior Pack for free, which grants them character and weapon cosmetic sets. In the new trailer focusing on the game’s story, you can learn more about the hero’s journey as a child of two worlds who seeks to reconnect with their lost heritage.
Players can pre-order the game at PlayStation Store, which has multiple editions including The Collector’s Edition, The Gold Edition, and The Ultimate Edition, all with their unique bonuses and inclusions.
Players were treated to the latest gameplay trailer for Resident Evil 4 VR Mode, a free update for The Mercenaries mode for everyone who owns Resident Evil 4, as well as the long-awaited additional story DLC, Separate Ways, starring Ada Wong – see the full trailer below:
The additional story DLC, Separate Ways and the free update for The Mercenaries mode, will be available on September 21, 2023, and the free DLC for PlayStation VR2, Resident Evil 4 VR Mode, is coming this summer.
Resident Evil 4 is currently discounted on PlayStation Store until September 26. Now is the perfect opportunity to play through Leon’s story and explore The Mercenaries mode ahead of the release of Separate Ways.
