THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS: ORIGIN CELEBRATES 100 DAYS WITH NEW HERO “ELIZABETH” AND SUMMER EVENTS

LOS ANGELES JUNE 26, 2026 – Netmarble, a leading developer and publisher of high-quality games, has released a new 100-day celebration update for its anime open-world RPG The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin. The latest update introduces the new hero Elizabeth, summer-themed events, special rewards, and more.

Players can now experience the new hero Elizabeth, designed as a support-type hero that reflects her healer concept from the original series. Elizabeth can use a variety of weapons, including Grimoire, Staff, and Wand, each offering different support abilities in battle. When using Grimoire, she can reduce enemies’ defense while restoring allies’ HP and increasing their defense. When equipped with Staff, Elizabeth can enhance the normal attacks of Wind-type allies while reducing the magic cost required for allies’ ultimate skills. With Wand, she can reset the cooldown of all team members’ normal skills when Earth Burst is activated.

Celebrating the addition of Elizabeth, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin has also introduced her exclusive Weapon Skin “Forbidden Tome Solvire” and Outfit Skin “The Princess Who Regained Her Memory.” In addition, players can take part in Hero Pick-Up events to obtain Elizabeth and Escanor.

New content has been added to allow players to acquire certain heroes based on their story progression. For example, players can acquire King after completing ACT 2 and Diane after completing ACT 11, while clearing ACT 15 unlocks the opportunity to obtain Escanor.

A new summer-themed story event “A Midsummer Day’s Dream” is now available as well, featuring Elizabeth, Howzer, Merlin, Mannie, and Clotho. The event follows a summer episode where characters travel by boat and explore beaches and islands. In the Spray Island, players can enjoy various activities including gathering, mining, and battles against field monsters.

A special 100-day celebration check-in event will run from June 24 to July 15. During the event period, players can receive a total of 100 Regular Hero Draw Tickets simply by logging in to the game. Additionally, the new minigame mode Magic★Pop will be available starting July 1 until July 15. This TPS-style content offers various rewards, including <The Seven Deadly Sins> Avatar Chest and Brilliant Engraving Seal. More information about the ongoing and upcoming events can be found via the official website.

The existing mining system has also been revamped to reduce repetitive farming fatigue. In response to player feedback, the system has been changed to a pet dispatch format, allowing players to enjoy a more convenient gameplay experience. The related event “Gotcha! The Scurry Squad Expedition” will run for three weeks from June 24 to July 15.

Based on the hit Japanese manga and anime IP The Seven Deadly Sins, which has sold over 55 million copies globally, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin lets players explore Britannia in a vast open world. It features tag-based combat, combination skills, and customizable teams using diverse characters and weapons. Multiplayer elements include forming parties for exploration or teaming up to defeat bosses.

Speed Past Pedestrian Traffic in VR: Motorcycle Sim LANESPLIT Gets VR Update Today

CANADA — June 23, 2026 — Today’s VR Games Showcase unveils the VR update for LANESPLIT, the traffic-weaving motorcycle racing simulator developed by solo developer FunkyMouse. Feel the thrill of high speeds on PC via Steam VR alongside a massive free content update to the base game featuring new bikes, additional weather options, and a new cast of real-world riders as playable characters.

Helmet on, visor down — feel the speed in true first-person fashion. Get behind the handlebars of 16 high-performance motorcycles, including two new electric bikes with their own distinct sense of speed, handling, and traction. Steer clear of close calls without crashing to jet to the top of global leaderboards, and mind the weather as newly added Thunderstorms can turn dry roads into suddenly-slick asphalt.

Dodge responsible drivers shifting lanes while the drum-and-bass soundtrack intensifies alongside rising speedometers. Collisions cause the soundtrack to screech to a halt while sending riders flying off their bikes with full ragdoll physics.

Burn rubber solo or in multiplayer as a fully customizable rider, or pick one of the new playable characters added to the roster, modeled after IRL motorcycle enthusiasts like Brian636CyborgAngel, and GhostRider. Put their reflexes to the test in Rush Hour mode, or find peace alone on blissfully empty roads in Zen Mode.

“Motorcycle POV videos from Brian636, CyborgAngel, and GhostRider were a huge inspiration for this content update,” said Shakya Ranatunga, founder and solo developer at FunkyMouse. “While the first-person camera angle already lends itself to flow-state gameplay, VR takes the riding experience to another level.”

LANESPLIT is now available in VR alongside a free content update on PC via Steam, as revealed in today’s VR Games Showcase. For more information, follow developer FunkyMouse on Twitter/X and check out the official YouTube page.
