Talking to Siliconera, Ms. Ruff (the woman voicing Katherine, Vincent’s actual girlfriend) revealed that she has been told to match all of her lines to a certain time and then Katherine’s actual lip motions are modified to fit her dialogue as good as possible. If the scene was already fully animated then she had to sync her voice to the character’s lips.
