Who doesn’t love a little puppet-on-puppet cannibalism?
LOS ANGELES (Oct. 22, 2026) The Number of the Day is 2! Developer siblings John and Evan Szymanski with indie horror publisher DreadXP announced that the beloved and relatively disturbing puppet-dismembering survival horror game, My Friendly Neighborhood, drops on Nintendo Switch 2 today (https://www.nintendo.com/us/store/products/my-friendly-neighborhood-switch-2/) for $29.99.
Step into the work boots of Handyman Gordon and investigate a disturbance at the local television studio that once housed the now-defunct children’s show, The Friendly Neighborhood. It turns out the puppets aren’t so friendly after all, as they have come to life and commandeered the studio to broadcast a decidedly family unfriendly transmission.
It’s up to you, Handyman Gordon, to shut down this rogue band of violent puppets using a variety of letter-based weapons to defend yourself and survive (make sure to study up on your ABCs). Solve perplexing puzzles, organize an intricate inventory and get to the bottom of the mystery of this unusual uprising as you encounter a colorful cast of puppet friends turned enemies.
Taking the most gripping elements of non-linear survival games and fusing it with a variety of delightful environments that include cardboard crayon hallways, My Friendly Neighborhood offers a unique tension-fueled gameplay experience for the Switch 2, including the post-launch Neighborhorde Game Mode.
My Friendly Neighborhood heralds an extremely positive 83 Metacritic score and thousands of Very Positive fan ratings on Steam. The title is also available on Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and the Windows Store for $29.99. You can wishlist on all platforms today.
