Forge New Alliances in GOING MEDIEVAL’s ‘Diplomacy Update’, Available to Download Today

Hit sandbox colony sim gets first major post-1.0 content update today

London, UK – October 13, 2026 – Forge new alliances and make dangerous new enemies as you continue your journey to rebuild civilization with the GOING MEDIEVAL Diplomacy Update, a major new content update available to download for the hit sandbox colony sim today on Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG.

Send a caravan to neighbouring settlements to form powerful new alliances, make steadfast demands, or grant peaceful favours with GOING MEDIEVAL’s brand-new Diplomacy System. Work with – or against – twelve NPC factions, balancing trades, relationships and pacts to help grow your settlement into a thriving city. But beware: certain factions won’t budge with their own demands, or may be too bloodthirsty to befriend.

Strengthen your settlement by hiring miners, scholars and smiths from new job postings at neighbouring locations, and bolster your stronghold against hostile encampments by recruiting mercenaries to come to your aid.

The Diplomacy Update also introduces major new changes to the trading system, including new faction-specific resources to give each faction their own economic identity, and encourage players to diversify their own production and trade, along with new game events and additional quality of life improvements.

For more information on the features introduced in today’s update, head over to Steam and watch the brand new devlog.
