Free update 12 Expands X-11 with Meteor Showers, Missions, and The Return of The Galactic Front
August 20, 2026 – Run for cover, Troopers! Offworld, in partnership with publisher Knights Peak, has launched the free Update 12, “Attack on X-11,” for Starship Troopers: Extermination. Nearly doubling the size of the X-11 map, the update opens up new build locations, combat areas, and places to take on missions.
On X-11, Bugs are no longer the only threat. Meteor Showers make their debut on the planet because threats on the ground just weren’t enough. The popular Galactic Front limited-time event also returns with new Perks and, of course, the Morita Mk 3. Check out the key highlights for Update 12 below:
X-11 Map Expansion
Planet X-11, located inside the rings of a gas giant, is a scientific and mining colony in the Tibannis System that houses a deep space listening post and the Teefang communication array for the federation.
The expanded X-11 battlefield introduces new combat zones, build sites, and territory for Troopers to explore, including new missions across the planet:
- 3 AAS
- 1 ARC
- 1 Horde
- 1 Hive Hunt
Troopers will also need to keep one eye on the sky as the new Meteor Showers Environmental Mutator will send them racing for cover.
Events, Missions, and Service Records
Update 12 brings back the popular Galactic Front limited-time event, new daily missions, and service records to take on:
- 18 New Class and Weapon Daily Missions
- 21 New Class and Weapon Service Records
- New Perks and the Morita Mk 3 weapon
- The Galactic Front returns its limited-time event
New supporter DLC
Troopers can now gear up with two new Supporter Cosmetic Packs, Toxic Sunrise Supporter Pack and Hydro Hydra Supporter Pack, available to purchase at [4,99 $/EUR] each.
