[August 14, 2026] — LINE Games’ upcoming horror co-op, QUIET, just hit 150,000 playtesters in only 10 days, with even more players continuing to flock to the playtest. The team at LINE Games is incredibly grateful for the support, and is continuously implementing player feedback.
Alongside the playtest milestone, the QUIET development team also shared a new Developer Letter, answering questions from the community and sharing more insight into the game’s mechanics. One question tackles the gauge bar at the top of the screen, which tracks the amount of noise players make inside the mansion. Voice input through your microphone, footsteps from walking or running, and even the ducks’ “Quack!” sounds can all cause the gauge to rise. - Every Sound Matters: Movement, dropped objects, and even your real-world voice can alert the homeowner. A microphone is required.
