London, 13th August 2026 – PQube and developer Joy Brick are excited to launch their anime-inspired third-person tank sim, Panzer Knights: Commander’s Edition, today digitally for PlayStation® 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Alongside its digital release, a physical PlayStation® 5 edition is available across Europe, giving collectors the chance to bring the battle home to be proudly displayed in their collection. To celebrate the release, an action-packed launch trailer was revealed, showcasing the game’s explosive third person tank combat.
Blending tank simulation with hardcore strategy and anime-inspired visuals, Panzer Knights: Commander’s Edition puts players in command of a German panzer platoon during World War II, fighting across Europe from the invasion of Poland to the brutal battles of the Eastern Front. As they engage in explosive third-person skirmishes, players will need to load specialized ammunition, target enemy weak points, and strategically call in support to stay one step ahead of the ever-changing situation on the front line.
Away from the battlefield, players can assemble an elite tank crew from 30 anime-styled recruits, each with their own backstories and unique skills. Alongside a formidable arsenal of meticulously detailed tanks to choose from, each with their own characteristics, strengths, and vulnerabilities, players will be able to experiment with different crew and tank loadouts to adapt to changing objectives and to gain the upper-hand against battlefield threats.
