Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian is the newest mainline entry in the Atelier series, developed by Gust and published by Koei Tecmo. Set in the rich world of Lantarna, this offline JRPG delivers a full artisanal experience filled with synthesis, exploration, turn-based command battles, and town/shop management. Featuring original protagonists Rias Eidreise and Slade Clauslyter, the story unfolds as they travel across the Lantarna continent, meeting beloved characters like Ryza, Ayesha, and Klaudia while striving to restore the town of Hallfein after tragedy strikes.
Gameplay blends classic Atelier mechanics with new innovations. You’ll explore ever-changing Dimensional Paths—multi-level dungeons whose layouts and rewards shift each time—and gather rare ingredients including coveted Starpearls. Synthesizing powerful items uses the Gift Color system, Catalyst Ingredients, and the possibility of Recipe Morphing for surprising effects. In battle, strategic depth is added via Multi-Actions, timeline-based commands, Item Mix mechanics, and the Unite Gauge, which enables devastating bursts when filled.
