And that’s why Fulqrum Publishing is on hand – to guide you to take a stand in the eternal conflict between Arcane Magic and Steampunk Revolution in New Arc Line, prove your political brilliance in a grand strategy that will take your legacy to the stars in Realpolitiks 3: Earth and Beyond, and become a master of sword and magic in VED – all of which are available to play for the first time during Steam Next Fest, taking place from today until October 21st!
The New World looms on the horizon, on its shore the shining city of progress, and the last beacon of hope in your search for a cure to your family’s fatal disease – New Arc. You arrive to this foreign land by steerage of a steamship, cramped with thousands of other immigrants, a stranger in a strange land, full of wonder. But you will soon discover that the city’s beauty runs only skin-deep and all you find is rot beneath the golden facade.
Dark smoke from the factories chokes the skies, segregation, inequality, and corruption run rampant. You will have to rise from the very bottom, make tough decisions, and get your hands dirty if you are to succeed – and you must, no matter the cost!
Craft technopunk gear or master the arcane arts, fight, steal or smooth-talk your way to the top and become the hero or villain you want to be. You will not have to face the trials of this world alone, however; find your companions and gather your party, make foes and allies, fall in love, get involved in a massive conspiracy, and change the course of history forever.
The demo puts you directly in the centre of the Iron Plague epidemic, as you are tasked with completing a quest at the Leprosarium; the institution dealing with patients suffering from the disease in the destitute slums. With several ways of completing the quest and moral decisions to make along the way, will you rise to the occasion?
Realpolitiks 3: Earth and Beyond
Prove your political brilliance in a grand strategy like no other: pick any contemporary country, set up your government and navigate the pitfalls of domestic and international politics. A glorious destiny awaits – the domination of not just the Earth, but the whole Solar system!To achieve this ultimate goal, you will have to carefully consider a myriad of decisions, starting with the choice of a country you wish to lead.
The demo will allow you to govern either Germany or Mexico, and you will have 5 in-game years to show off your cunning leadership skills. At launch, any contemporary nation will be available for your ambitions, from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe and everything in between.
VED is a story-driven RPG featuring stunning hand-drawn art and animation combined with a unique teleporting system, turn-based combat mechanics and rogue-lite elements.

In VED, you take on the role of Cyrus, a young hero who comes to the city of Micropolis in search of a new life. There he suddenly discovers the ability to teleport between two interconnected worlds full of mysterious flying islands, strange creatures, and dangerous monsters. Unfold an interactive story where each decision matters and help Cyrus discover the truth about this magical place, so that you can decide the fate of two worlds. To succeed in your quest, you will have to master the powerful magic of the Veds.
The game’s huge fantasy world, characters, and aesthetic design are inspired by various cultures and mythologies. Throughout Cyrus’s quest he will encounter many factions that have different views on the events taking place. By helping inhabitants from magical lands and the real world, Cyrus will learn more about himself, both universes and most importantly, how to save them all… Or become their doom.
