LOS ANGELES – July 12, 2024 – Mabinogi, Nexon’s free-to-play fantasy MMORPG, has launched the first part of its two-part update with Chapter 8: Generation 26 – Winds of Fate.
With multiple divine beasts appearing throughout Uladh, Etain and Eirawen make a secret pact to overcome the crisis by working together and recruiting four mercenaries to resolve the situation:
- Delga, who was once part of a mercenary group, now wanders Uladh alone. She might appear to be slight but her confident eyes burn with blue flame and determination. Delga traces the path of her future endlessly.
- Aine began her career for the money like many mercenaries but the difference is she actually cares about people and is a force for good in chaotic times. Aine left the group to fight the Divine Beast’s threat, and a few followed in her footsteps.
- Declan has strong intuition and years of experience. Although his cheerful personality unites others around him and makes Declan indispensable, his smile is concealing his difficult past and the rough road ahead.
- Seafra leads a life without curiosity, desire, or aspiration. God has never given him much, so all that matters is the little warmth he is given now.
Milletians can take part in the Summer Master Plan event through September 12, participate in weekly training from the mercenaries, and receive the following rewards:
- Buffs for character growth such as 2x AP, 2x Skill Training, 2x Briogh for Techniques, and 2x Stardust
- Increased effects for weapon and gear growth including Erg and Echostones
- Serpent outfit sets and other newly added cosmetic items and consumable items
- Weekly Hotday gifts every week on Saturday and Sunday during the event period as well as Rebirth Potions
The update also features the Black Combo Card Special Mission Event where players can participate in daily missions to gain Combo Card points and Combo Card fragments used to modify the Incomplete Black Combo Card, an item received during the event. Players can focus on their character’s growth by becoming a top-secret agent during the event and they can customize their own Black Combo Card to assist in battle while they simultaneously uncover the mystery behind Generation 26. This event will allow for options to be selected using gold and points to receive a guaranteed value when building the card. Improvements have been made to the Special Mission such as shortened monster waves and when replacing skills on the Combo Card, players can now pick the skill they want.
Part II of Chapter 8: Generation 26 – Winds of Fate kicks off on August 8.
In the update, players can enjoy Moonlight Island where they create a unique lifestyle space for themselves and their favorite NPCs. There are many new features offered to decorate and expand the island to their liking such as changing the island’s topography. They can also invite residents to Moonlight Island to participate in different production activities and acquire various items that are helpful to their Life in Erinn. In addition, an all-new Moonlight Island Boost Event will be available, offering increased EXP boosts to grow players’ islands, and additional ways to obtain homestead props to decorate with.
