Vancouver, Canada – [November 5, 2026] – Relic Entertainment just launched the Company of Heroes 3: 3.0 20th Anniversary update on PC via Steam. The biggest update to Company of Heroes 3 since launch, 3.0 brings major improvements to nearly every aspect of the game, from visuals and audio to AI, gameplay, maps, and the campaign. This update also brings major improvements to Company of Heroes 3 – Final Stand, including 3-player co-op and a brand-new Battleground.
The 3.0 update brings extensive visual and environmental improvements to the battlefield, including new snow and rain weather effects, dynamic terrain wetness, enhanced atmospheric effects and soldier lighting, animation improvements, and new industrial, winter and autumn environments. Audio has also received a substantial update, with improved weapon firing, impact, explosion and vehicle destruction sounds, alongside an expanded music selection featuring classic tracks from Company of Heroes and Company of Heroes 2.
Players will also experience improvements to AI, gameplay and balance designed to encourage a broader range of strategies and enhance the moment-to-moment gameplay. The Italian dynamic campaign has received its own improvement pass, including a range of fixes, improvements to map clarity and readability, refreshed visuals, and additional gameplay and presentation updates.
The multiplayer map pool grows with five new maps: Ancona Railyard, Vire River Valley, Foggia Airfield, Turin Steelworks and Radarstation Mammut. The update also brings improvements across every multiplayer map, with Langres Winter, Mignano Summit and Rapido River Crossing receiving significant updates.
Four new premium cosmetic sets are also available alongside the update: Climb to Glory for US Forces, Edelweiss for Wehrmacht, Bloody Baltic for British Forces, and Cold Snap for Deutsches Afrikakorps.
Alongside the 3.0 update, Company of Heroes 3: Final Stand is receiving major improvements. Final Stand will benefit from all of the visual and audio improvements in the 3.0 update. As well, up to three players can now join forces in co-operative play. A new Battleground has been introduced in Dam Busters, which introduces game-changing weather conditions impacting battlefield visibility and unit range. Players will also experience a range of gameplay fixes, balance updates, as well as additional enemy units, new abilities, and passive technologies.
