Working with Montabi Demo Available Now!
October 12, 2026 – Let cute creatures keep you company while you work! Working With Montabi demo is now available ahead of its participation in October Steam Next Fest. Following last month’s Rain World crossover reveal, you can now work with Teto from cooking sim Kuloniku: Bowl Up! and Nyanus from ADV card-battler **Kumitantei: Old School Slaughter** in the demo.
Working With Montabi is a desktop companion where cute creatures visit your room while you work, play, or do anything on your screen. Attract unique Montabi visitors with their favorite items, type along with your avatar, and stay focused with productivity tools. Pat the little creatures and you might receive gifts to customize your room and avatar. Collect at your own pace, without worrying about marketplace scams and predatory microtransactions.
Montabi Halloween Update: New Vampire Montabi!
A new vampire Montabi is coming to the Halloween Update on October 26 for both Montabi and Working With Montabi. Montabi version 1.1 will also bring new features, balance updates, and more improvements with 10% off during the spooky season.
Montabi is a monster taming roguelike deckbuilder with grid-based positioning. Play as a Trainer who battles on grid with your team of Montabi, each with their own evolutions and deck that you can build every run. The Montabi universe continues to grow following its August release, starting with a desktop companion spin-off called Working With Montabi.
