BORDEAUX, France – 9 Oct 2026 – Wartales, the medieval open-world tactical RPG with more than 1MM units sold from developer Shiro Games, strikes at the heart of the Empire with the launch of its Contract: Fires in the Capital DLC, now available on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
Chart a course for the glorious city of Isandrin, the heart of the Empire, now under the control of a new leader. General Maxime’s sweeping reforms have thrown the capital into unrest, and tensions between rival factions have reached a boiling point. Set to work restoring order as chaos spreads through Isandrin’s streets.
Track ruthless brigands, tear down propaganda posters, and gambol through districts as traveling bards to influence the population. Quell riots started by unruly citizens and calm residents to restore thriving trade. Every action the warband takes in Isandrin has rippling effects, changing the flow of commerce and the stability of districts.
When diplomacy fails, take to the streets in urban combat scenarios shaped by the surging havoc.
