THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS: ORIGIN INTRODUCES NEW HERO “ESTIA” AND A NIGHTMARISH HALLOWEEN CIRCUS

LOS ANGELES – OCTOBER 29, 2026 – Netmarble, a leading developer and publisher of high-quality games, has released a new update for its anime open-world RPG The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, featuring the original hero Estia, Halloween-themed events, a new raid difficulty and more.

Created exclusively for The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, Estia takes on different combat roles depending on whether she equips a Rapier, Wand, or Grimoire. With a Rapier, she serves as a Cold-element attacker, utilizing Weaken stacks on enemies before unleashing a powerful Ultimate Move. A Wand gives her a Holy defense and healing role, helping allies survive through healing over time, area healing, and barrier. With a Grimoire, she becomes a Cold-element Support, boosting allies’ Ultimate Move damage and critical stats while weakening enemies’ defense.

Players can discover her three combat styles in the Hero Estia Trial Event, available through November 18, and earn rewards including Star Fragments, Supreme Mastery EXP.

Arriving for the Halloween Season , Mighty Freaky Circus invites players into a horror circus where reality and illusion intertwine. As the Capital of Liones celebrates its harvest festival, Tristan discovers a mysterious circus tent that no one else can see. Drawn inside, he becomes the star of a dangerous show and finds himself in a seemingly endless nightmare. Players can complete event quests and defeat event boss, Star of the Nightmare, to collect currency exchangeable for rewards such as Halloween Chance Basket, Brilliant Engraving Seal, SSR Magic Crystal Shard, and more.

Also available through November 18 is the new Deadly Sins, Assemble! minigame that lets players earn event currency and can be exchanged for the special title, Halloween Chance Basket, Radiant Potion of Charm, and other rewards. The Update Eve Check-In Event will run from November 4 to November 18, offering Hero Pick Up Draw Ticket, Regular Hero Draw Ticket, and more.

For players seeking a greater challenge, the update introduces Transcendence difficulty in the Taranis’s Sanctuary raid. Players must defeat the final boss, Black Knighthood Captain Taranis, within a given time to earn the final rewards.

Based on the hit Japanese manga and anime IP The Seven Deadly Sins, which has sold over 55 million copies globally, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin lets players explore Britannia in a vast open world. It features tag-based combat, combination skills, and customizable teams using diverse characters and weapons. Multiplayer elements include forming parties for exploration or teaming up to defeat bosses.
