Cyprus – October 5, 2026 – The demo for Guns of Eschaton, the Western FPS Soulslike from developer Eschatology Entertainment and publisher 4Divinity, is available to download now on Steam. Players around the globe can venture onto the Hound’s Path ahead of the game’s participation in Steam Next Fest this October.

Taking on the role of a mysterious gunslinger, players will journey through an unforgiving, apocalyptic 19th-century Americana, where bullets are scarce, every death is a lesson, and a single mistake can be fatal. Each encounter can be approached in a myriad of ways, but be warned – knowing when not to pull the trigger is just as important as knowing when to fire.
Historically-inspired firearms, specialized ammunition, timed parries, occult powers, talismans, and consumables all form the gunslinger’s arsenal. Players will also be able to use the Codex to reveal enemy weaknesses, which just might help the gunslinger live to see another day.
The demo launches today and will remain available through Steam Next Fest, taking place from October 19 – October 26. Those ready to brave the Weird West (or die trying) can download the demo on Steam now.
