Ink-wash artistry sets the scene for a new ARPG that’s full of haunting beauty and hidden wonders.
Hong Kong – 15th October 2026 – Developer Leap Studio, creators of artistic action-roguelite Realm of Ink, in collaboration with ConchShip Games, best known for The Scroll of Taiwu, announced today the launch of Realm of Taiwu into Early Access on PC.
Set in a tainted world where the gods have fallen silent and fiends known as Xiangshu run rampant, Realm of Taiwu sends players across shattered lands in search of hope in the depths of despair. Drawing inspiration from the eerie imagination of Chinese tales of the strange, Realm of Taiwu combines dark fantasy with ink-wash artistry to set the backdrop for fast-paced combat, exploration and crafting. Early Access introduces players to two maps: Bloodjade Abyss in which crimson ore veins pulse like arteries, and Tome Mound, where glyphs crawl across the ground. Every scene is an explorable ink-wash landscape, and every inch has a story to tell.

Realm of Taiwu is, at its core, a survivors-like action title that rewards players for combining combat styles to achieve the ultimate victory. At Early Access launch players will have a choice of six playable characters and nearly 30 skill sets, which will expand further throughout development. A plethora of options for solo players, but when teaming up in real-time online co-op with up to three other players, the opportunities for coordinated combat explode.
Every warrior, whether they favour melee, ranged or status attacks, needs equipment they can rely on. In Realm of Taiwu players can create weapons tailored to their combat style by breaking down surplus gear and reforging it to upgrade their favoured pieces for legendary equipment that will stay with them until their end.
