New York, NY (October 7, 2026) – As revealed today by Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) President and CEO Hideaki Nishino at the Crunchyroll Anime Future Forum, SIE will introduce a new dedicated anime space within the PlayStation®5 home experience, bringing together anime, anime-inspired games and easy access to Crunchyroll.
Launching next Spring, the new anime destination is designed to make it easier for the PlayStation community to discover and explore the anime content they enjoy.
“From Crunchyroll membership on PlayStation, to the upcoming Ghost of Tsushima: Legends anime series. Today, we take that partnership with Sony Interactive Entertainment one step further with an anime hub on PlayStation,” said Rahul Purini, President of Crunchyroll. “Serving fans means meeting them where they already are.”
