Convergence Showcase – Creepy Horrors: Blood Cult 2 Conjures Console Versions in 2027, PC Playtest Available Now

Lead an arcane cult, collect otherworldly creatures, battle for underworld supremacy

ATLANTA — 9 Oct. 2026 — Creepy Horrors: Blood Cult 2, the spooky occult creature-collector RPG from Dillo Interactive, will summon forth arcane creatures in 2027 on Steam for PC and SteamOS, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and XBOX Series X|S. Today marks the launch of a Steam playtest and the release of a new trailer, which premiered as part of the October Convergence showcase.

Vie for power and influence in the underworld by collecting, battling, and sacrificing more than 100 Creepy Horrors. Summon forth folkloric creatures like the Wendigo, the disgusting Soul Sucker, and the inexplicable Jimothy. Fight against other cult leaders in 3v3 turn-based battles with a squad of six Horrors, strategically charging up Blood Lust to deploy Horrors’ abilities to deal damage, deliver devastating debuffs, and deploy defensive disciplines, while charging up powerful ultimate attacks to put other cultists in their place.

Join one of four specialized Sects, each offering their own dark strengths. Dost thou crave big damage numbers? Join the offensive onslaught of Secta Daemonum. Then again, defense wins championships, and Secta Mortuorum specializes in damage resistance. Secta Spirituum specializes in buffs and debuffs, while Secta Cryptidarum embraces entropy, enabling extreme evasion and unpredictable attacks. Choose wisely…each Sect even has exclusive ability-augmenting Relics and Horrors.

Upgrade Horrors and summon fresh fiends by sacrificing cultists and unwanted Horrors to gain parts to complete recipes. Waste not, want not. Explore the crypts to find new recipes, growing in power and influence to challenge more difficult crypts and more powerful cultists. The playtest, available today on Steam, features more than 20 Horrors and multiple crypts to explore.

“After the success of My Little Blood Cult, we wanted to expand the world and explore a new genre, and creature collectors felt like a natural fit,” said Ryan Gallini, founder, Dillo Interactive. “The only problem is that I think the game might actually be cursed, because my Steam Deck keeps calling to me to ‘playtest’ it some more…”

Creepy Horrors: Blood Cult 2’s playtest is available now on Steam, with the full game launching in 2027 on Steam for PC and SteamOS, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and XBOX Series X|S, with support for English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese – Brazil, Russian, Simplified Chinese, and Turkish language text.
