team17 is set to bring this violent, action-roguelike to PC, when the low-res little hunter prepares to burn bright in the forests of the night.
Thursday, 8th October 2026 – team17 has announced Little Prince Tyger, a brand-new dark fantasy, action-roguelite from French studio, Saltitude Games, is in development for PC. A reference to the iconic William Blake poem ‘The Tyger’, players will embark on an honourable and bloody, violent journey as a tiny hunter battling to overcome strange beasts to progress across more than 1,000, hand-crafted, single-screen levels.
Coming in 2027, Little Prince Tyger is a stylised, low-resolution adventure that combines precise, physics-driven combat and fluid simulation, with strategic action gameplay. Armed with a simple bow and arrow and tasked by the Queen with finding her lost son, Prince Galaad, the 2D pixelated hero’s adventure builds on action-roguelike gameplay. Each run combines fast-paced combat and a rich variety of perks that change the game, from adjusting stats (from bleed damage and movement, to an arrow’s draw speed and weight), to manipulating fluids, slowing down time, and even gaining the ability to access to additional weapons (such as javelins, boomerangs, throwing knives, traps, and more), ensuring successive loops continue the journey to victory.

Through past memories, players will meet a wonderful cast of characters, who – amidst the dark and unforgiving world – try to find their own place. These include Sauterelle, the brave kamanaï warrior with whom, to have a good time and share a meal; Machiavelli, keeper of the kitchen garden and who has a secret past; and Dagaubert, king of the world with a big heart, and more!
