LOS ANGELES – September 14, 2026 – Netmarble, a leading developer and publisher of high-quality games, has announced Game of Thrones: Kingsroad will introduce its Global Content Alignment server on October 13, delivering sweeping updates across progression, combat, visuals, game economy and an enhanced multiplayer experience.
The new content also introduces substantial improvements across the gameplay experience including a Membership and Battle Pass-focused system, rebalanced combat and growth to provide a natural gameplay flow and a rewarding progression system, and a new Dual Weapon System enabling players to switch weapons during combat for greater strategic flexibility. Additionally, multiplayer content has been updated with features including Elite Hideout, Honor Points, and the Exchange Post to enhance cooperative and competitive gameplay Improvements have also been made to navigation, UI/UX, skip functions and visual quality create a smoother and more intuitive experience.
The update gives players the flexibility to retain their existing characters and gameplay if they want to play on the current Western Server. Alternatively, players who want to experience the redesigned gameplay systems on the Global Content Alignment server, will be offered a comprehensive reward program based on both character progression and cumulative purchase history on the Western Server. A Reward Lookup feature, available when pre-registration opens on September 21, will allow players to review both progression- and purchase-based rewards ahead of the new Global Content Alignment’s launch on October 13.

Shortly following the launch of the new Global Content Alignment, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad will release a Season 3 update, which includes a new storyline set against the backdrop of the Stormlands, additional progression content and new gameplay objectives.
