The Battle of Hulao Gate awaits.
Hertfordshire, 24th September 2026 – Today, KOEI TECMO Europe and developer Omega Force have announced that a free demo for DYNASTY WARRIORS 3: Complete Edition Remastered is now available on PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™ 2, XBOX Series X|S, and PC Windows via Steam®. Players will have the opportunity to test their prowess on the battlefield ahead of the release on 1st October 2026.
DYNASTY WARRIORS 3: Complete Edition Remastered’s free demo will enable fans to get a first look at the revived version of the special scenario ‘Battle of Hulao Gate (Allied Forces)’. In this scenario, players will experience the clash between the forces of Yuan Shao and Dong Zhuo, rallying alongside commander-in-chief Yuan Shao and his allied coalition of regional warlords as they attempt to thwart Dong Zhuo’s attempts to seize power. Fans will be able to engage in this conflict with six playable officers (Zhao Yun, Guan Yu, Xiahou Dun, Zhenji, Zhou Yu, and Sun Shangxiang) and may also have the chance to face down an iconic formidable opponent at the end of the stage if particular conditions are met during the battle. In addition, it will be possible to adjust settings, such as the difficulty or language.
As well as this, as announced during DYNASTY WARRIORS 3: Complete Edition Remastered’s Tokyo Games Show 2026 special stage, fans can look forward to a post-launch update including a highly anticipated online two player co-op mode. Further information regarding this update, including full details and timing, will be revealed in due course.
In DYNASTY WARRIORS 3: Complete Edition Remastered, which will combine all content from the original DYNASTY WARRIORS 3 game as well as its expansion, DYNASTY WARRIORS 3: Xtreme Legends, fans will experience the revival of this iconic title with refined graphics and controls, as well as new features and scenarios. Players will be able to battle alongside familiar faces, as over 40 officers from the original roster make their return. Key features of the original game can be experienced, such as True Musou Attacks and offline two-player co-op, alongside brand-new features. Challenging new scenarios featuring numerous officers will also be added to allow fans to engage in an enhanced tactical experience unique to DYNASTY WARRIORS 3: Complete Edition Remastered.
Fans can now pre-order the digital standard edition as well as the DYNASTY WARRIORS 3: Complete Edition Remastered Digital Deluxe Edition which includes the base game, as well as premium bonus content: 42 weapons*, Six Secret Teachings, Wind Scroll and Tiger Amulet, Officer Concept Art Collection, and a set of 42 retro costumes based on the original title.
Everyone who pre-orders the game before 30th September 2026 will receive the “Retro-Style Red Hare Saddle” pre-order bonus item**.
