September 3, 2026 – LINE Games announced that the Ember and Blade 2.0 Demo will go live on September 3, inviting players to descend once more into its dark fantasy world. Shaped by player feedback, this marks a major overhaul of the game’s combat and progression systems.
Demo 2.0 gives players even more ways to shape how they fight. Chain light and heavy attacks into powerful combos, link Blessings directly to actions, and experiment with new Arcana to create devastating combinations throughout each run. The Sword and Hammer have also been revamped, while the all-new Shotgun brings a completely new weapon to Fenrix’s arsenal.
New Features and Improvements Include:
- Action 2.0 – Chain the Carnage: String light and heavy attacks into devastating combos with a reworked action and stamina system built to keep the fight flowing.
- Lock, Load, and Let Loose: Rediscover the fully reworked Sword and Hammer, or blast through demon hordes with the all-new Shotgun in Fenrix’s arsenal.
- Blessing Link – Divine Power, Your Way: Link Blessing powers directly to light attacks, heavy attacks, and dashes to unleash their effects in combat without consuming stamina. Experiment with different combinations and complete Blessing Link Sets to unlock additional bonuses.
- New Arcana – Build Beyond the Limit: Discover new Arcana cards and open up even more possibilities for powerful builds.
- Monsters & Combat – Give ’Em Hell: Face improved monster reactions and interactions with the environment, a new Break state, and redesigned Elite combat.
- UI/UX – Stay in the Fight: Take advantage of expanded control options, improved visibility, and an overhauled Elevator.
- Sanctuary Life – Even Immortals Need a Break: Step away from the demon-slaying to meet adorable marimos and watch the Sanctuary change dynamically with the time of day.
