The series celebrates surpassing 8 million global players
Hertfordshire, 3rd September 2026 – Today, KOEI TECMO Europe and developer Team NINJA invite players to take on the challenge of their epic action RPG Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Complete Edition, now available on Nintendo Switch™ 2. The popular dark Three Kingdoms Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty series has also surpassed over 8 million worldwide players* and, to celebrate, a brand-new launch trailer has been unveiled.

Players will set out on a journey into a dark fantasy version of the Later Han Dynasty plagued by demons in the most comprehensive edition of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. The Complete Edition includes the base game and all three major DLC, Battle of Zhongyuan, Conqueror of Jiangdong, and Upheaval in Jingxiang, as well as the new endgame content, The Thousand-Mile Journey. Players will take on the challenge of these additional scenarios alongside characters from the armies of Cao Cao, Sun Ce, and Liu Bei, and will also have access to new weapon types (cestuses, long swords, and whips). Furthermore, players will find their journey enhanced by new difficulties, new stages, new Divine Beasts, and more challenging difficulty levels, as well as expanded functions. Fans can also access a range of previously released collaborative DLC, adding equipment and stages from Nioh 2, NARAKA: BLADEPOINT, and Lies of P.
Additionally, three in-game items that were included in the initial release of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, Baihu Armour, Zhuque Armour, and Qinglong Armour, will be included in the Nintendo Switch™ 2 version of the Complete Edition, as well as The Records of the Grand Historian, an in-game item that shows the location of Marking Flags on the mini-map.
To celebrate the upcoming release of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Complete Edition for Nintendo Switch™ 2, all owners of the Nintendo Switch™ 2 edition will have access to an exclusive equipment set,Xuanwu Armour, as a commemorative bonus**.
Furthermore, fans can look forward to Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember, scheduled for release in early 2027. This sequel to Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will further refine and enhance the fast-paced, tactical combat of the first game with the inclusion of defensive Chinese martial arts, such as the ability to deflect incoming attacks. The Morale feature also makes a return, giving players the opportunity to conquer the battlefield.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Complete Edition is already available on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, XBOX Series X|S, XBOX One, XBOX on PC, and Steam®. The game features Japanese and English voices with texts in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish.
Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember is currently in development and is scheduled to release early 2027 on XBOX Series X|S, PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™2, XBOX on PC, and Steam®, and will be available from day one with XBOX Game Pass. The game will include Japanese and English voices with texts in English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish.
