LOS ANGELES – AUGUST 5, 2026 – Netmarble, a leading developer and publisher of high-quality games, has released a brand-new update as part of the 3rd Anniversary celebration of its collectible RPG Tower of God: New World. The update introduces the new Family-Head level Teammate, along with new events.
The newly added Teammate [Family Head] Yirang Yeon is the Family Head of the Yeon Family, one of the Ten Great Families, and the strongest Flame User in the Tower. In battle, Yirang Yeon deals continuous damage with powerful Burn effects that enemies cannot resist. Her ultimate skill deals powerful damage proportional to enemies’ HP at the center of the battlefield while blocking HP recovery for all enemies.
To celebrate her arrival, the Labyrinth of Memories event allows players to experience Yirang Yeon’s story, while [Family Head]Yirang Yeon Release Celebration Events give players the chance to obtain Yirang Yeon as a reward for completing missions. Additionally, players can participate in Yirang Yeon’s Advent Summon, in which players can receive various rewards such as SSR+ Tower’s Blessing Break Stone for summoning Yirang Yeon. These events will be available through August 19.
The 3rd Anniversary celebration continues with the Nonstop SSR+ Summon event, available through August 19. Players can select their desired SSR+ Teammate to obtain them more easily and challenge maximum Limit Breaking. Up to 2,000 Nonstop SSR+ summon tickets can be earned for SSR+ Teammates such as [The One Who Shone] Mago.
Additional anniversary events include the friend invitation event and the 3rd Anniversary daily mission event, where players can earn growth rewards simply by playing the game. All 3rd Anniversary events will be available through August 19, and players can find more details about the ongoing events on the official forum.
Tower of God: New World is a collectible card game RPG based on “Tower of God,” a popular WEBTOON series that has surpassed 5 billion global views. In Tower of God: New World, players can take control of fan-favorite characters to ascend the Tower. Join Twenty-Fifth Bam – and more than 100 characters – as he fights his way through the Tower in gorgeous 3D animation that will make players feel like they have stepped into an anime world.
