Heilbronn, Germany – 10 August 2026 – For many years, the Indie Arena Booth at gamescom has offered ambitious indie developers the opportunity to showcase themselves and their games to an international audience. German audio specialist beyerdynamic, which has recently expanded its gaming initiatives, seeks to support the community and is therefore making its debut as First Presenter of this year’s Indie Arena Booth.
Far more than just traditional sponsorship
Under the motto “Different craft. Same passion,” beyerdynamic highlights the special connection between indie developers and audio engineers. Both groups are united by their passion for bringing ideas to life through creativity, craftsmanship and dedication.

That same dedication defines beyerdynamic: For over 100 years, the company has been developing headphones, microphones, and headsets at its Heilbronn facility – some of which are still handcrafted on-site today – and now also offers a growing product line specifically designed for gamers.

beyerdynamic will equip the demo stations at the Indie Arena Booth with a total of 230 MMX 300 PRO professional gaming headsets, bringing the developers’ creative vision to life through sound. At a vinyl listening station, visitors can experience selected soundtracks and music from the games presented at the Indie Arena Booth through professional studio headphones from beyerdynamic. Furthermore, the audio specialist from Heilbronn has a surprise or two in store for dedicated gaming fans.
