July 13, 2026 – The World of Tanks team today announces a partnership with Ubisoft to launch Battle Pass Special: Far Cry, a limited-time event inspired by the wild and lawless spirit of the FARCRY universe.
Beginning July 16, Commanders will leave civilization behind and plunge into a tropical paradise where beauty hides danger, trust is a luxury, and survival is everything. Battle Pass Special: Far Cry runs through July 27, bringing iconic FARCRY characters, unique customization rewards, exclusive 2D styles, and a brand-new tank featuring a jungle-crafted 3D style.
The M-VII-Y takes center stage as a rugged American Tier IX heavy tank built to endure where others fall behind. Available through Chapter Progression, it comes with the exclusive “Twisting Paths” 3D style. Its design reflects the island’s influence, with palm leaves on the turret creating a distinctive silhouette that hints at the madness and instability woven throughout the FARCRY universe, while a cannon inspired by Citra’s Knife features a blade-like shape and carved tribal patterns.
Five authentic FARCRY characters, each featuring unique voiceovers, will join the battlefield. Through Chapter Progression, players can recruit Jack Carver, the hardened ex-Navy officer, and Dr. George Krieger, the brilliant but disgraced geneticist. Additional themed bundles unlock Jason Brody, a reluctant survivor shaped by chaos, Citra Talugmai, the enigmatic and revered Rakyat leader, and Pagan Min, the charismatic yet ruthless self-proclaimed King of Kyrat.
By progressing through Chapter Stages, Commanders can earn FARCRY-inspired rewards across both Base and Improved tracks, including themed 2D customization items. Featured among them are:
- “Trouble in Paradise” 2D style pays tribute to the original FARCRY game through the iconic red Hawaiian shirt worn by Jack Carver.
- “Tatau” 2D style recreates the legendary tribal markings of the Rakyat people, transforming the tank into a canvas covered with the symbols and traditions of the islands.
- “Jungle Fever” 2D style also draws inspiration from the unforgettable visual identity of FARCRY 3, bringing its iconic artwork and the legendary knife of Citra to the battlefield.
