2 JULY 2026 – Independent Belgian developer Maracas Studio announced today that Cat Mail Co., the cozy post office simulation set in a charming world of cats, will now launch on Steam on July 9, 2026.
Don’t worry: nothing’s been lost in the mail. The team simply decided to postpone the launch by a few days to avoid releasing during the busiest stretch of the Steam Summer Sale.
While the delivery date has shifted ever so slightly, excitement for Cat Mail Co. keeps growing. The game has now climbed past 130,000 wishlists, while its free demo has earned an impressive 96% Positive rating from players on Steam. Not too shabby for a little feline-run post office.

In Cat Mail Co., players arrive on Cat’s Island to discover a once-beloved post office buried beneath mountains of undelivered parcels after the mysterious disappearance of its former postmaster. It’s up to you to sort, stamp, label, and organize the backlog one package at a time.
As night falls, the experience takes a subtle, magical turn. Parcels may reveal unusual properties under moonlight, adding mystery and discovery to the routine. Along the way, players uncover a story hidden within the backlog of undelivered mail.
The game also features up to 4-player co-op gameplay. Friends can work together to optimize workflows or simply enjoy the cozy atmosphere as a team.
