Oberhaching, Germany, June 10, 2026 – The world of Sengoku Dynasty, a blend of settlement building, roleplaying and action adventure in a stunning open world, keeps growing. After adding a whole new archipelago with the Kanata Update in March and celebrating springtime with the Sakura update and DLC in April, development team Superkami and publisher Toplitz Productions are getting ready to unleash the new free Shokunin update.
Available on all platforms tomorrow, June 11, 2026, Shokunin adds dozens of new elements to the content rich world of Sengoku Dynasty’s feudal Japan. The gentle hum of the hive comes to Nata Valley. You can now master the ancient art of beekeeping and harvest honey or wax, adding sweet new produce to your production chains. To look the part, a traditional Beekeeper Clothing Set has been added.
From rugged foundations to delicate finishes, you now have even more achitectural control. You can fortify your houses with robust stone foundations and matching entrance ramps, or improve your roofs with traditional clay roof tiles. Paper-based doors and straw-woven fences offer unprecedented aesthetic variety to capture the spirit of the era.
For those walking the Way of the Warrior, two new legendary weapon sets, the Spirit of the Woods and the Sprit of the Sea will be available, adding even more variety to your arsenal.
