NEWCASTLE, Australia — June 24, 2026 —Advent: Dawn, the psychological sci-fi mystery visual novel about seven strangers trapped beneath a remote island, developed by Spire Games, launches on Monday, July 20, 2026, for PC via Steam, Linux, and Mac.
Play as Dr. Atlas Everly, a neuroscientist whose routine expedition into a vast cave system turns into a nightmare when a collapse traps him underground with six strangers. Desperately search for a way out as tensions begin to fracture, trust starts to erode, and the cave reveals signs that something far more disturbing than an accident is unfolding beneath the earth.
As paranoia and guilt begin to mount, piece together the larger story hidden within a labyrinth of living crystals. Make key decisions, solve environmental puzzles, and use an interactive flowchart map to revisit crucial turning points. Pursue every character route, and witness as the multiple endings build upon one another to reveal the “true” finale – a climactic revelation of what really happened beneath the island, and whether any of it was ever meant to end in escape.
“Our goal was to create a mystery that stays with players long after they have completed the game. Every choice carries emotional weight, and the line between reality and perception slowly begins to fracture,” said Spire Games. “We wanted players to question not only what’s happening, but why it’s happening to them. It’s about survival under impossible circumstances, where emotional connections can become either your salvation or your undoing.”
