Semi-real-time action card game showcases tactical movement, deckbuilding and dark fantasy visuals
Hong Kong, China – June 10th, 2026 – Snako Production and Infini Fun are pleased to announce that an updated demo of their mold-breaking fusion of deckbuilding strategy and action-combat evasion, Golden Swirl, is now available on Steam. The demo will be participating in Steam Next Fest, kicking off on June 15th, but players don’t have to wait to dive into the dark fantasy world and see what awaits when the game releases in 2026.
Unlike traditional turn-based games, Golden Swirl has you dodging boss attacks while playing your cards, balancing deck-building with tactical movement. There are four characters to choose from, each with their own unique starting relics and card pools. With over 120 cards and over 100 relics to add to your collection, you can forge unique builds and discover deep synergies to craft devastatingly effective strategies
As you explore procedurally generated dungeons, meeting maddened merchants and silent swordsmen with their own tales to tell, you will be faced with difficult choices that will permanently alter your combat rewards and resource progression. Every choice you make ripples through the “Golden Will.” These events dictate your path forward and silently erode your character’s state, subtly yet fundamentally twisting your deck’s composition
Golden Swirl is set in a dark fantasy world, scored to a rousing gothic metal soundtrack. Set in a world where the deities have fallen after the “Great Dreamer” invaded the realm and the Black Moon twisted into a colossal Swirl poised to devour everything, you represent the last glimmer of hope. You must step into the treacherous Golden Swirl, sworn to uncover the ultimate truth behind this apocalyptic cataclysm.
