Fantasy Farming Sim Dragon Shelter Invites Players to Train Their Dragons Ahead of 24th September Launch.

Coming to PC, and with a brand new demo available now, the newest title from Wild Forest Studio drops players into a fantasy world full of crops to grow, meals to cook, and dragons to befriend

June 6, 2026, London, UK – Wild Forest Studio and Curve Games have today announced, as part of the Wholesome Direct, that fantasy farming adventure Dragon Shelter, which is currently in development for PC, will launch globally on 24th September. Set in a vibrant hand-painted world, Dragon Shelter invites players to revive the long-lost bond between humans and dragons. Combining cosy farming systems with creature care, exploration, and light RPG progression, the game welcomes players to escape to a magical world filled with dragons to befriend and recipes to uncover.

The new demo, playable now on Steam, invites players to experience the opening hours of Dragon Shelter where they will set out on a cosy adventure to rebuild and replant their dilapidated farm, befriend an adorable water dragon and try their hand at water-based terraforming, and cook some delicious jam (alongside various other recipes) for the friendly townsfolk.

Here be Dragons!:

In Dragon Shelter, players will cultivate crops, craft tools, befriend townsfolk and, of course, raise and care for a variety of unique dragons – each with their own personalities and abilities. These dragons aren’t just companions; they help restore biomes, uncover secrets, and represent the last bastion of hope standing against the creeping desolation threatening the land.

Oleg Babenkov, Game Director, Wild Forest Studio, said: “Developing Dragon Shelter, the goal has always been to create a world for players to escape to, a world where dragons and magic can thrive! We are incredibly excited to invite players into this magical world from 24th September, and we hope they enjoy the sneak peek on offer in the Steam demo in the meantime.”

Rich Keen, VP Publishing, Curve Games, said: “We are thrilled to help the incredible team at Wild Forest Studio bring their dream to life later this year. Dragon Shelter perfectly captures the heartfelt cosy experience players love, blending relaxing gameplay with whimsical creatures, and sprinkling in some cooking and gardening for good measure.”
