Discover new enemies, gameplay improvements, and a special Creator’s Room deep dive as Evolvania returns to Steam Next Fest from June 15–22
June 11, 2026. Solo developer Elan Manuguerra and indie publisher IV Productions are excited to announce that the uniquely unsettling 2D metroidvania Evolvania will return for Steam Next Fest (June 15–22) with a polished and updated demo, giving players a fresh opportunity to experience one of the most unusual adventures coming to PC.
Set entirely within the living body of a colossal creature, Evolvania casts players as a small sentient eye searching for the legendary collyrium. What begins as a desperate struggle for survival soon transforms into a mysterious journey through a shifting biological labyrinth of organs, teeth, flesh, and strange organic structures, where the creature itself may be trying to communicate.
Available throughout Steam Next Fest, the updated demo introduces players to Evolvania’s opening biome while showcasing the game’s distinctive exploration, combat, and evolution mechanics. This enhanced version also features new enemies, visual improvements, gameplay refinements, quality-of-life updates, and additional interactive elements, offering the most polished look yet at the adventure ahead.
In addition to the playable demo, Elan Manuguerra will host a special Steam Next Fest Live Broadcast directly on the Steam page. Players can join the developer for a guided gameplay session, behind-the-scenes discussion, and an in-depth look at the Creator’s Room, Evolvania’s intuitive level editor that allows players to design, share, and challenge others with their own custom creations.

Evolvania combines classic metroidvania exploration with an innovative evolution system that encourages experimentation at every turn.
