Double-deck-builder Shroom and Gloom just spread its fungus all over the PC Gaming Show, revealing that not only is a brand new updated demo available right now, but that the game will be coming to PC this summer!
Developed by indie wizards Team Lazerbeam and published by Devolver Digital, Shroom and Gloom is a moody first-person, roguelike deck-builder bursting with fungal foes and mountains of mega-combos. Unleash cards from your dual deck to hack, slash and roast your way through hand-drawn dungeons filled with fungal foes. Build devastating decks, and grow cards into massive abominations as you fight your way into the heart of The Gloom.
Shroom and Gloom offers unique ways for players to grow and modify their cards across two distinct decks, infinitely. Use the combat deck to survive fierce battles, and the explore deck to navigate dungeons, transform your cards, and unlock new weapons and abilities. Grow low level starting cards into over-powered attacks, or modify rare cards into game-breaking super-weapons.
Shroom and Gloom is coming to PC this summer, but you can get a taste of its double-deck-building right now in a spanking new demo that features a bunch of new gameplay that wasn’t in the last one. How far will you make it through The Gloom?
