Cozy Builder is heading to Steam Next Fest from June 15-22, giving players their first opportunity to experience multiplayer in the cozy sandbox builder’s evolving demo. Following its debut during Steam’s House & Home Fest, the demo has continued to grow through community feedback, introducing new objectives, building tools, architectural pieces, and quality-of-life improvements that players can experience throughout the festival.
Cozy Builder is a relaxing sandbox building experience where players design and restore charming homes across a tranquil vineyard valley. While it shares the creative freedom of cozy builders like Tiny Glade and Townscaper, Cozy Builder introduces a unique modular puzzle-building system, inviting players to craft their dream château while rebuilding a countryside shaped by quiet disaster.
Set in the aftermath of an earthquake, Cozy Builder places players in a once-thriving valley now left in disrepair. As the valley’s builder, players restore damaged homes, help revitalize the countryside, and create a beautiful retreat of their own among rolling vineyards and sunlit hills.
Since first appearing during Steam’s House & Home Fest, the Cozy Builder demo has continued to evolve based on player feedback. New decorating objectives, expanded builder-focused tasks, additional architectural pieces, Builder Cam, Smart Placement, blueprint previews, performance improvements, and other quality-of-life enhancements have helped shape the most complete version of the demo yet.
During Steam Next Fest, players can:
- Build together in multiplayer for the first time
- Restore earthquake-damaged homes through Cozy Builder’s unique modular puzzle-building system
- Design and decorate both interiors and exteriors, from cozy living spaces to ivy-covered gardens and greenhouse sanctuaries

The Steam Next Fest demo represents the most complete version of Cozy Builder yet.
