30XX Creator Batterystaple Games Becomes the Ringmaster in Co-op Minigame Fiesta Clowntown

SEATTLE – 8, June 2026 – Clowntown, an off-beat co-op party campaign for 2-8 clowns from 30XX developer Batterystaple Games, sounds the clarion call for all noble jesters in its grand reveal at today’s PC Gaming Show before launching on PC via Steam. Are you down to clown?

The show must go on! Take center ring in a campaign of action puzzles and evolving minigames devised by the shadowy Ringmaster. Paint masterpieces, erect mighty skyscrapers, and compose a beautiful cacophony symphony – the greatest show requires many talents! Over 100 unique minigames and action puzzles stand between you and the Ringmaster, each designed to make you think, plan, fail, laugh, then use your team’s two collective brain cells to grasp sweet victory.

It’ll take focus and coordination to survive this high-wire act – teamwork makes the dream work, but what you have is probably good enough.

Roll up in the clown car and romp through a co-op adventure in Clowntown’s primary Campaign Mode. Dance upon the Ringmaster’s palm through 5-6 hours of mostly co-operative hand-designed charades built to keep the whole party laughing, crying, and yelling at each other all at once. Start the journey as friends and strive to end on good terms!

Master Clowntown’s evolving minigame series as seemingly straightforward challenges add wrinkles that could break even the most jovial of jesters. Paintblast simple pictures in Face Paint, struggle to keep your work intact as an NPC saboteur joins in Also Paint, then embrace chaos and race against the clock when the art prompt becomes ridiculously elaborate in Probably Not Paint

Clownishly collaborate to assemble simple words in Spelling Bee, then feel the ante increase as a timer and massive 28-letter words appear in Spelling Wasp. Finally, flip the script as Bees Spelling forces competing clowns to spell by collecting literal moving bees. Each of ClownTown’s fully fleshed out minigame sets grows and changes as you play, keeping the clown squad laughing and musing about what might come next.

After the campaign (or in between sessions, as a treat!), enjoy Party Mode’s two buffoonish flavors. Revel in Co-op to play curated or randomized minigame sets as a team, choosing customizable goals, difficulty levels, and mutators. Try Contest Mode to flip Clowntown’s co-op nature into something more sinister, as co-op games become free-for-alls, and clowns score individually instead of as a team.

All modes feature a dedicated “honk” button, and you can customize the sound it makes. Your teammates can’t mute this.

Clowntown will raise the curtain on PC via Steam soon. Supported languages at launch include English, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, German, Korean, French, Spanish, and Portuguese. Follow Batterystaple Games on Bluesky or X for the latest updates.
