Following the success of Waltz on the iOS App Store—where it has maintained a 4.7/5.0 average rating and received multiple Apple features, including Game of the Day and Apple feature article Games We Love — Aldin is making the magical experience more accessible to even broader audiences.
Following a surge of social media requests from fans, Aldin is completing the Waltz mobile journey, allowing players to carry a “cauldron of chaos” right in their pockets! Whether a veteran sorcerer or a fresh apprentice, the Android release will ensure everyone has a chance to have fun with Skully.
A New Way to Play Waltz on Mobile: Free-to-Try
With this launch, Waltz of the Wizard is transitioning from Premium to a Free-to-Try model on both mobile platforms (Android and iOS). While the game remains a premium title on Steam, Meta Quest, and PlayStation, mobile users will be able to experience a taste of the magic at no cost in the wizard’s tower, but to experience the entire wizarding world will need to purchase the Full Game Unlock via a one time In App Purchase.
All iOS premium users will receive the Full Game Unlock automatically at no additional cost as part of this update on April 15!
More polish on mobile
The Android release and subsequent iOS update introduce several enhancements designed to provide the smoothest magical experience possible, including a much mobile UI, improved virtual joystick sensitivity and responsiveness, a more polished menu system, landscape mode functionality for menus and various gameplay optimizations across all mobile hardware.
