Multi-Class Weapon Pack DLC Arrives 14 April for theHunter: Call of the Wild

Four specialised weapons built for precision, power, and every hunt in between

STOCKHOLM – 7 April, 2026 – Avalanche Studios Group today announced the Multi-Class Weapon Pack, the latest DLC for theHunter: Call of the Wild, launching 14 April on PlayStation and Xbox consoles, as well as PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store.

The pack introduces four new weapons designed to cover every hunting scenario: the Richardsson .500, the Cassidy Combination Gun, the ALIS Precision Shot .25-06, and the Jonerson 17HMR.

Built for versatility, the Multi-Class Weapon Pack includes three bolt-action rifles and a distinctive combination gun, giving players the flexibility to take on a wide range of game. Whether lining up precise shots on small targets or delivering stopping power against larger prey, each weapon is engineered to make every shot count.

The Multi-Class Weapon Pack features:

  • The Richardsson .500, a powerful straight-pull rifle built for the largest game, the Richardsson .500 delivers a distinct, weighty shooting experience. Chambered in .500 Jeffery and equipped with a decocking safety, it excels at taking down high-class targets (classes 8–9) at long range with confidence and control.
    Ammunition: .500 Jeffery Solid rounds for extreme penetration, or Soft-Point for exceptional expansion.
  • The ALIS Precision Shot .25-06, an iconic and reliable choice for medium game, the ALIS Precision Shot .25-06 combines a flat trajectory with versatile ammunition options. This time-tested bolt-action rifle delivers strong performance with manageable recoil, making it ideal for a wide range of hunting scenarios.
    Ammunition: Polymer-Tip rounds for precise penetration (classes 3–7), or lighter Soft-Point rounds for controlled expansion (classes 2–6), both effective up to 200m.
  • The Jonerson .17HMR, designed for small game and bird hunting, the Jonerson .17HMR offers exceptional accuracy and an ultra-flat trajectory for easier long-range targeting. Its lightweight design, 10-round magazine, and fast follow-up shots make it perfect for varmints and small predators (classes 1–2), with zeroing options extending up to 300m.
    Ammunition: Full Metal Jacket rounds for high penetration and flat trajectory, or Polymer-Tip rounds for increased expansion, both effective for classes 1–2 up to 125m.
  • The Cassidy Combination Gun, offering unmatched versatility, the Cassidy Combination Gun allows players to seamlessly switch between rifle and shotgun barrels. This classic break-action firearm effectively functions as two weapons in one: a .22 Magnum rifled barrel for small game at range, and a 12-gauge shotgun barrel for close-quarters encounters across a variety of animal classes. Simply hold reload to swap ammo types and adapt instantly in the field.
    Ammunition: Uses existing calibers—.22 Mag Jacketed Hollow Point or Hollow Point (classes 1–2); 12 GA Birdshot (class 1), Buckshot (classes 2–5), or Slugs (classes 4–8).
