GuangZhou, March 19th 2026 – Today, LilliLandia Games, an indie studio under Tencent Games, has launched its cosy life sim title, Animula Nook, into its very first Closed Alpha Playtest.
The closed Early Alpha Test takes place exclusively on PC (Steam) from March 19th. It’s not too late to join the micro-verse – join the Discord server and follow Animula Nook’s social channels to participate in upcoming events for a chance to win access keys and experience the world of Animula Nook firsthand.
The eagerly anticipated PC Playtest offers an early first look at the game’s core features, including deep character customisation – with up to 500 never before revealed themed outfits and furniture items unlockable for players to make their character, homes and even certain NPC elements their own.
Players can now shrink down for their first hands-on experience and explore a whimsical micro-verse that reimagines your desk, windowsill, and even the dustiest corners of your bedroom as a vast adventure map. Navigate and interact with oversized, real-world objects to build your own Starside Homestead, transforming giant desktop items into tiny, cute home decor. Clear away clutter, build your home and invite Minies to become neighbours – with the chance to unlock item blueprints to create an even more distinctive Homestead.
Embark on your journey as a Wishweaver, collecting Emogy scattered throughout the map to level up, unlock new features, and carve out a unique, personalised story with every discovery. Wander, skate or soar with your Wupa – a cat-like creature companion – to explore the newly revealed Balcony area, offering a space beyond their windowsill where players can build and enjoy planting under open skies.
Once your homestead is suitably your own, meet a Starside member and jump on a Wubus, the tiny nation’s Bus Route, to journey further beyond home with an exciting new step toward Animula Nook’s first exploration grounds.
Explore the miniature town of Wuruville, a charming settlement where the Minies live, including unexplored homes, shops to spend your Minie coins, and more. Venture further onwards from the Dew Floral Sea to the mysterious Wupa Woods, where players can uncover unique regional mini-games, and gather resources such as petals, spider silk, mushrooms, bottled sunlight and more while getting a first glimpse of everyday life in Minietopia.
Build your community and explore the town alongside up to 50 different Minies, the original residents of Minietopia. Players can interact and chat to Minies to explore different stories and learn from local Minie Masters to enjoy activities including cooking, dancing, planting, construction and performance.
