New paid DLC adds new playable characters, modes, systems and more
Hertfordshire, 13th February 2026 – Today, KOEI TECMO Europe and developer Omega Force are pleased to announce that the 1 vs 1,000 roguelite action of WARRIORS: Abyss is growing even more intense with the release of six new paid DLCs in collaboration with DYNASTY WARRIORS: ORIGINS. The DLCs, which include new playable characters and brand-new modes and systems, as well as new bosses and BGM tracks, can now be purchased. WARRIORS: Abyss is available as a digital-only title on PlayStation?5, PlayStation?4, Nintendo Switch™, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC via Steam?
As part of the main content set, fans will be able to join forces with the nameless hero of DYNASTY WARRIORS: ORIGINS to traverse the merciless trials of hell. Additionally, the new ORIGINS mode, the companions system, BGM, and bosses – including the infamous Lu Bu – take the adrenaline-filled gameplay of WARRIORS: Abyss to the next level.
Also available for purchase is a new playable character set which allows fans to descend into the inferno alongside characters Zhang Jiao, Dong Zhuo, and Lu Bu from DYNASTY WARRIORS: ORIGINS. Finally, four types of other character version sets (Wei, Wu, Shu, and Other) have been released, giving players the ability to swap existing characters from each faction with their respective DYNASTY WARRIORS: ORIGINS version, such as their voice lines, clothing, and abilities. Fans will delve into the abyss and battle their way through the hordes of enemies that await them with their unforgettable teammates from DYNASTY WARRIORS: ORIGINS.
