MORTAL KOMBAT: LEGACY KOLLECTION PHYSICAL EDITIONS NOW AVAILABLE ON ALL PLATFORMS

Following a Successful Digital Launch in October, Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection Expands to Physical Formats; Now Available on Atari.com and Major Retailers Worldwide 

EMERYVILLE, CA (Dec. 12, 2025) | Digital Eclipse, a renowned retro gaming studio focused on the digital restoration of classic video games, Atari and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have released the physical editions of Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection on PlayStation 5, PC, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-orders for the physical editions ship beginning today, with Nintendo versions shipping with a game card containing full game data. 

Developed by Digital Eclipse and published by Atari, and officially licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection brings together a comprehensive library of the franchise’s early titles. From original arcade klassics to beloved home versions on Super NES and Sega Genesis, and handheld releases on Game Boy, Game Gear Sega 32X and Game Boy Advance, each game has been faithfully restored and enhanced with modern, player-friendly features. Many arcade and console editions also include online multiplayer support with rollback netcode. 

The Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection physical editions include:

  • Standard Edition – The base physical edition is now available on PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch for $49.99, and on Nintendo Switch 2 for $59.99 on Atari.com and major retailers. The Xbox Series X|S standard edition was available as a limited-time pre-order. 
  • Deluxe Edition – Includes the Standard Edition plus a Steelbook, mini marquees, magnet, poster, lenticular card, arcade flyers and arcade cabinet cards. The Deluxe Edition is available on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch for $69.99 and Nintendo Switch 2 for $79.99 on Atari.com and major retailers. 

A Kollector’s Edition, designed by Limited Run Games and shipping at a later date, includes the Standard Edition along with a Goro controller holder statue, commemorative arcade token, hardcover art and lore book and a pin set – all items housed in a special, numbered collector’s box. Pre-orders for this premium edition ended on August 31. 

The Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection lineup includes 11 Mortal Kombat games spanning 1992–2003, including Mortal Kombat (1992), Mortal Kombat II (1993), Mortal Kombat 3 (1995), Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (1995), Mortal Kombat Trilogy (1996), Mortal Kombat 4 (1997), Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero (1997), Mortal Kombat Special Forces (2000), Mortal Kombat Advance (2001), Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance (2002) and Mortal Kombat: Tournament Edition (2003).

Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection is now available digitally and physically on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One consoles, PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch.
