SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – NOVEMBER 13, 2025 – Today, Ubisoft releases Anno 117: Pax Romana, one of the most ambitious Roman Empire strategy games ever created, on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X | S, and Windows PC through Steam, the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Connect.
Developed by Ubisoft Mainz, Anno 117: Pax Romana offers a premiere builder experience by redefining the genre. For the first time in the Anno series, players can choose their own character to shape their journey in the story-driven Campaign Mode. Will you choose Marcus, a young man burdened by doubt, chosen to prove his worth in a role defined by difficult decisions, or Marcia, a young woman trying to take charge of her own destiny in a time of political upheaval? As Governor, your choices will shape the lives of your citizens and redefine the meaning of Roman rule.
In Sandbox Mode, players can customize their builder experience to their liking and choose their starting province: Latium, close to the heart of the Empire, or Albion, the wild and mysterious province where no civilized Roman wants to be. Each province offers its own unique culture, deities, and beliefs. In Albion, will you embrace Celtic traditions or impose Roman ambitions? Choose your deities, meet your citizens’ needs, and decide whether to preserve peace or engage in military battles on land and sea. As Governor, the cost of peace is yours to decide.

Players will be able to discover new expansions and unforgettable challenges in the 3 additional DLCs in the Year 1 Pass:
- In Prophecies of Ash, the region of Latium expands with new space to settle. Discover the largest island in Anno 117: Pax Romana, where a natural volcanic disaster will challenge the way you govern. By devoting your cities to a new deity, you can reshape lands to your advantage and build anew.
- Build The Hippodrome – the grandest monument in Anno’s history, inspired by the famous Circus Maximus. Entertain your citizens with thrilling chariot races, gain more prestige as a governor and welcome new specialists into your cities.
