Experience the Next Chapter in the Kinglor Forest and a Brand-New Area Inspired by Avatar: Fire and Ash™., with Enhanced Immersion via Third-Person Gameplay
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA—24 September 2025— Today, Ubisoft announced “From the Ashes”, an action-adventure expansion to Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora™. The expansion will be available on 19 December on Ubisoft+, PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, as well as PC through the Ubisoft Store, Epic Games Store, and Steam. This expansion invites players to return to a section of the Western Frontier, encompassing the Kinglor Forest and a brand-new area, in a gripping new story of vengeance and survival. In Australia & New Zealand, the expansion launches the day after the theatrical release for Avatar: Fire and Ash, extending the adventure for all Avatar fans.
Developed by Massive Entertainment, a Ubisoft Studio, in collaboration with Lightstorm Entertainment and Disney, “From the Ashes” sees players embark on the journey of So’lek, a battle-hardened Na’vi warrior from the Trr’ong clan. Ambushed and left for dead by the RDA and their new allies—the ruthless Ash clan—So’lek awakens to a world in flames and his Sarentu family scattered. Driven by grief and vengeance, he sets out to reunite with and protect his loved ones.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora – “From the Ashes” expansion will be available as a standalone purchase for players who already own the base game or will be available for purchase as part of the new “From the Ashes” Edition, which will contain the base game and the “From the Ashes” expansion, along with “Floating Mountains Bonus Content” (three distinct banshee color patterns inspired by the Valley of Mo’ara in Pandora – The World of Avatar):

The main game of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is available now on Ubisoft+, PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, as well as PC through the Ubisoft Store, Epic Games Store, and Steam. A 3rd-Person Update for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will be launching on 5 December. This update introduces two of the most requested features from the community: New Game+ and the long-awaited third-person mode for the main game.
