Players can enjoy the public demo in solo or multiplayer with up to four hunters!
Hertfordshire, 10th July 2025 – Today, KOEI TECMO Europe and developer Omega Force have released a demo for their upcoming fantasy hunting game, WILD HEARTS S, on Nintendo Switch™ 2. Players can experience the first stages of the game in solo or with friends in the four-player multiplayer mode, both online* or local. WILD HEARTS S is scheduled to release on 25th July 2025 exclusively on Nintendo Switch™ 2.
In the recently released demo, players can experience the first stages of the game from the prologue, up to “Minato”. Whether deciding to explore the lands of Azuma on their own or in a pack of four players, aspiring hunters will face off against fearsome nature-infused beasts such as the “Ragetail”, the “Sapscourge”, or the formidable “Kingtusk”, a giant boar with massive trunk-like teeth. Players will need to be resourceful as they craft and assemble various “Karakuri” (automaton) to shape the hunting ground accordingly and arm themselves to face these giant, nature-infused beasts. Upon completing the public demo, players will be able to carry over their save data to the full game to continue the hunt.
In WILD HEARTS S, players must master an ancient technology called “Karakuri” (automaton) to hunt giant beasts across a fantasy world inspired by feudal Japan. Players will be able to craft and combine a wide variety of “Karakuri” to create a wide range of items and equipment to hunt and slay the beasts roaming the lands of Azuma. Whether wielding blazing lava, raging blizzards or miasma, these giant, nature-infused beasts will pose serious challenges for players who will need to use the materials gathered from their hunts to craft new, more powerful weapons if they are to stand any chance of survival.
Players can now pre-order both the physical** and digital versions of WILD HEARTS S on Nintendo Switch™ 2 ahead of its release on 25th July 2025. The game will feature voices in Japanese, English, French, Italian, German and Spanish, with texts in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish and Polish.
